I think there are 3 things that I think might happen.

It might not work. The other mangas that they haven't focused on beats them. Something with Azuki.

Apes are a lot more likely to die violent deaths than humans are. We may engage in more impressive warfare, but violence takes a proportionally smaller toll on our population. You can chalk that up to civilization.

98 is out. I rather liked the color spread/cosplay image at the start and PCP looked rather cool this week.

Not sure how I feel about the flashback and relationship stuff. On one hand it was nice to have it all spelled out while on the other it felt out of place with the rest of the chapter.

Haha I was right, I said something with the other manga would happen.

Given that if they lose again, their career is pretty much screwed unless they go to one of the lesser known magazines, it's pretty obvious that they'll beat +natural although I dunno about crow.

Personally - I'd have to say that I actually like the idea of PCP. I like how they keep trying to stick within the margins of what a primary school kid could do while at the same time still managing to come up with fairly interesting plots. While I'm somewhat against the overdose of friendly rivalry between all the mangakas it works really well and seems appropriate in a primary school setting. Yeah, I'd definitely read this. Although I'm not sure how I'd react if it pulled an onani master Kurosawa and went all catcher in the rye on us.

Is it me, or does PCP contain quite some fridge logic. Why does PCP need to be secretive about helping people? Why is that treated as something negative by Ekichi?

Keep in mind, they're kids. They're probably keeping it a secret because they like the idea of having a secret.

Also, if I am not mistake a 'secret' was the whole point of the PCP. The whole 'perfect crime' thing is exactly 'doing useless things 'without other people noticing. This is a Fridge Logic of other kind, actually. For the PCP, just noticing there is something weird is already a defeat. Ekichi defeated then in the moment he convinced himself they exist.

Nice chapter. But I was wondering, can they really do just that? I mean, it is fine name you girlfriend for a voice role? Isn't it a bit unethical?

Also an anime already? It is only 25 chapters, wouldn't it mean it would be just a few cours, instead a long term series?

To be fair PCP structures seems to allow space for fillers easily. Still yeah, it does seem a bit too soon for an anime.

They could go the Kampfer route and make 12 episodes miniseries every time there is enough material, or go the Hellsing route and make OV As with 100% speed ratio.

But these are not Shonen Jump manga right? Isn't Kampfer a light novel? This format is normal for this kind of adaption. Suzumiya Haruhi, Shakugan No Shana and Tora Dora are the same.

For Shonen Jump big hits, however, the usual is a long term series.
