Ah yes. That episode had me wondering if Utena was actually talking to the audience until said morning-after scene. Also, talking about your lunch for tomorrow should not have sounded as hot as it did.
In other news, I'm finally getting around to watching The Familiar Of Zero or Zero No Tsukaima or whatever you wanna call it. Anything I should prepare for?
Bitch.
I very seldom call a female a bitch. But she's a bitch. A nasty bitch. Bitch bitch bitch bitch bitch bitch bitch bitch. Her bitchiness is beyond Asuka's. Beyond Akane's. Beyond Kyle's Mom'.
Beyond Panty's.
She's a bitch.
Anyone here disagree with that assessment?

Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.Extreme Tsundere action. I mean, seriously, to the point of Dude, Not Funny!. She has her reasons, and the guy has the ability to take it, but still it's a little more than some viewers can tolerate.
It looks like 3 new series will be starting in Shonen Jump on November. And the cover is a bishie! What a surprise.
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerI'M TIRED OF TEENAGERS! WHY CAN'T MORE SERIES BE LIKE PSYCHO-PASS OR BEBOP? ADULTS, I WANT COLLEGE-AGED ADULTS!
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.Because they're Shonen series, and thus geared towards teenage boys?
(You know Seinen's a thing that exists, right?)

Because Japan has an obsession with youth. Probably since everyone there is so old.
Precisely.
Nonsene. Back when Kenshiro, Jojo, Goku and Kuwabara were the kings of the playground, bishounen were in the clear minority, and teens loved their series more than ever.
Then again, in Jojo's case, the meaning of Bishounen is... well... I'm not really sure if it applies or not. Jojo is kind of unique.

Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.I'm still convinced Araki is colorblind. I have no other explanation for his coloring style.
THE COLORING IS NOT THE PROBLEM HERE
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that....let's change subjects, shall we? Blood-C cast in time for trick or treating!

Blood? It's a niche franchise. I wouldn't recommend it, but, hey, if it works for you, who am I to judge.
Also, please spare me the ellipses. I'm trying to comedically exaggerate my astonishment at the style of Jojo, which I really can't tell if it's trying to be sexy or fashionable or what. The fact is, there seems to be some miscommunication between me and the author, because I can't tell what he wants me to feel.
I read Jo Jo for the plot and the energy and the sheer originality. This series practically invented Shounen tropes as we know them.
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.Don't forget the best catchphrase ever, right next to "Indeed". I am of course referring to Dio
I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialWhile they weren't Bishounen, Yusuke and Kuwabara where still in highschool, Goku was a kid in the beginning of Dragon Ball, and I think at least one Jojo was still a teenager.
and Yare yare daze...
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that. Are you indeed referring to what I think you're referring to?
Indeed, I must be faster with my posts.

'Sides, Yu Yu Hakusho was no stranger to bishonen. Just look at Kurama.
What's precedent ever done for us?\*tries to figure out what Physical Stamina is referring to, Dio comes in and punches him in the face*

Blood C dub trailer
After watching episode 2 of Zero, I think that if Saito can serve Louise how he served... blond guy who's name I can't remember, he might be my favorite character.
Considering that nobody appears to have a consistent canon hair/eye color (even when they do have an official hair or eye color), I'm thinking you might be right on that.
Right, I've just finished episode 4, and I have to say that this show has some serious slavery connotations. For example, familiars/"peasants" are completely at the mercy of their master; he/she can do whatever they want to them, they have to do whatever they say, and they can't protest no matter what. Also Louise whips Saito whenever she's pissed with him, makes him do all the dirty work, and even calls him derogatory names. And it's supposed to be Played for Laughs.
...am I see only one seeing this? Am I overthinking things? Whether I am or not, I just find this disconcerting.
Well, since basically all I know about the series is that people are freaked out by Louise's abuse and the system in general I think it's safe to say it's not just you.
Ep 23: Mamiya was Anthy! Mikage set the fire! Akio wiped everyone's memories! Ep 33: Utena slept with Akio! OH SHIT
