Sorry, but the first one that comes to mind is the Valsione from Super Robot Wars, which is a video game.

Not a substitute for a formal medical consultation.Random rambling:

I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel."Woman in armor" mecha—Possibly Aphrodite X from the Mazinger franchise, she of the breast missiles notoriety?
If we're counting those, then another possibility would be Shinkon Gattai Godannar. But if we're talking about mecha with human features (e.g. face), then that could be harder to pin down...
Not a substitute for a formal medical consultation. My first thought would've been the Valsione as well. Second thought was Klan Klein, but she doesn't count because she's actually a giant woman in armor.
Aniplex USA Confirms Blu-Ray Release for Bakemonogatari.
Really, it's Blu-Ray only? Seems a bit strange given that it's Aniplex. EDIT: Oh, wait, I forgot about Rurouni Kenshin.

And Air Gear is officially over.
You know, I'm not too bothered that I had trouble understanding the last chapter. The previous chapter had the author calling the planet-wide temporary reversal of gravity caused by two pairs of roller skates that can literally "piece the heavens" (one of which was not even being worn at the time) a "parlor trick." Compared to that, the last chapter makes perfect sense.
Yu hav nat sein bod speeling unntil know. (cacke four undersandig tis)the cake is a lie!Of course it will, this is getting worse than the double Pokemon White/Black movies.
Wow, more mangaka screwing.

Infinity...On this week's top manga sales chart, one may be surprised to notice Its Not My Fault Im Not Popular ended up in 10th for its second volume. Quite a feat for something that serializes online.

I'm glad, it's a very good manga. More importantly, this proves international fandoms are a big deal...
I didn't know Switch Girl was a manga before it was a J-drama... and it looks like that Kingdom manga is fairly popular.

Infinity...Does anyone know any place where I can get total sales figures for mangas?

I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Probably Oricon's site, but it's all in Japanese so I'm not sure...
Infinity...Just finished watching the obviously-amateurly-subbed episode 1 of Ginga Sengoku Gunyuuden Rai on Youtube (from here), which is my first time ever hearing the Japanese voices of the characters. First observations: Simone is voiced by Kotono Mitsuishi, and Rai Ryuuga sounds suspiciously similar to Ikkaku Madarame.

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Question: What's an insert song and why do they never show up on the DVD?
Insert songs are songs that are inserted into the show. No, really.
Rule of thumb is that any song from the show that is not the opening or ending theme is an insert song. They are 'inserted' wherever they're needed in the middle of the episode, so to speak. Typically, insert songs are played only once or twice, at high points of the story, marking intense moments of drama or emotion. Exceptions to this are usually from shows about music, like a band or an idol group. The insert songs there are the ones they utilise in the in-show performances that are not the opening or ending theme (so "Ready!!" in Idolm@sters would not be considered an insert, for example). Well-known examples of insert songs include The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi's "God Knows", and Guilty Crown's "Euterpe" ("Euterpe" was inserted over the cold open of the OP-less first episode).
If you're looking for the insert song on the show's DVDs, it's just a matter of finding the episode(s) where the song was played.

Not a substitute for a formal medical consultation.Ah, thank you for that. But as to insert songs on DVD, the insert songs at the series finales of Taiyo No Ko Esteban and Sonic X (Series 1) aren't on the DVD's. Maybe that's just for those two or just for finales.

You mean to say the DVD version omitted the inserts which were present in the TV version?
Yep, right on the money.
Huh, how weird. If anything, home video releases usually have more content, not less. Like extended scenes, retouched animation, shorts and other trivial extras.
I remember a while back reading about some anime that featured a huge mecha that looked like a giant human woman in armor, does anyone know what it's called? Thanks in advance for any help.
