Falconia, more likely.
Also regarding Idolmaster — the new game is about male idols, meaning its not within our manga author's strike zone, unless you mean the traps...
Chapters out and it's about Falconia. Hopefully, Rickert's meeting with Griffith will be next chapter and it'll give us some idea of where things are headed.
@ thatother1dude
To quote one of my friends on another forum "Griffith has Rickert in check" should he give Griffith ANY sort of subtle verbal FU. The man has the world in the palm of his hand and any sort of shit-talk will get him immediately booted from Falconia and sent back into the wild which had the monsters that he and Erica were fleeing from.
Hell, even the out of ordinary Apostles have been accepted by the former Midland people and the Band Of the Hawk. Also you guys remember that prophecy of the Hawk Of Darkness and Hawk of Light which Schierke was talking about earlier in the Millennium Falcon arc? That's Griffith who is both the Hawk of Light and Darkness because of his form as the leader of the band of the hawk and Femto of the God Hand.

"I don't give a rat's ass about going to hell. I guess it's because I feel like I'm already there." -MugenOnly just got around to reading the chapter now. I'm glad to know we know when we're getting the next chapter. Not sure what to make of things right now, but I'm guessing Rickert's meeting with Griffith will have a shock for us.
To anyone interested - I just finished the fan-translated PS 2 game. It's really solid and anyone who has the resources (and time) should give it a go. Sure it took a long time to set up properly but it was worth it. Seven hours of awesome Berserk stuff.
New chap!
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.I am filled with dread.
Also Griffith is like beyond Jojo levels of smoking hot.
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.Good lord Griffith. 0_0 This dude is a walking talking Villain with good publicity. If only Guts was there to spill the beans on what he did during his asshole moments.
"I don't give a rat's ass about going to hell. I guess it's because I feel like I'm already there." -MugenThen no one would believe him and an army of men and apostles would come down on him.
@thatother1dude
Just like what Zodd threatened to do to Guts if he was still itching to fight Griffith in Vritannis.
"I don't give a rat's ass about going to hell. I guess it's because I feel like I'm already there." -MugenIt'll be funny if Griffith turns out to be just another pawn of the Idea of Evil and, once he has fulfilled his role as Dark Messiah it pulls a You Have Outlived Your Usefulness on him. Imagine the the breakdown.
It is sometimes an appropriate response to reality to go insane.I thought that was a given.
RIP Akira Toriyama, taken from us far too soon.Berserk chapter 336 raw out.
(whistles)
Annnnnnnnnnnd folks we finally see The Dark Side of Griffith's so-called "Promise Land" for much of the world. A monster fight arena and Locus looking creep as shit.
"I don't give a rat's ass about going to hell. I guess it's because I feel like I'm already there." -MugenScanlation of chapter out, and it's just as you might have guessed the chapter was about.
Locus suspects Rickert of intending to interrogate Griffith about the Eclipse. The main reason why he had this feeling though? It's because he doesn't have the scent of the brand of sacrifice on him since all former members of the band of the hawk had printed on their flesh prior to being sacrificed. When taken to the Apostle fighting arena he gives Rickert a mild and educating "The Reason You Suck" Speech regarding humans and why humans would be lost without monsters to fight and require monsters for allies because of how weak they are.

"I don't give a rat's ass about going to hell. I guess it's because I feel like I'm already there." -MugenSo after the world merging, are the Qliphoth monsters still made from human nightmares or do they reproduce like regular animals now? Either way, depending basing your society on your guardians having Ogre Battles to sate their bloodlust will give you a pretty hard limit on your stable "peace level".
In no way should Griffith's society be considered natural. I mean yeah the monsters are under control and what not, but a society built on the corpses of others be allowed. Makes one wonder what lord Owen and other nobles would think of their messiah if they knew he sacrificed the old band of the hawk to build Falconia.
"I don't give a rat's ass about going to hell. I guess it's because I feel like I'm already there." -MugenWhy would they care? The Band of the Hawk weren't nobles.
Noble or not, I would hesitate to be a pawn in someone's game if I knew that this person has killed all of his former pawn. Plus, that would cast a serious shadow of his image as the Falcon of Light. On the other hand, it would be strange to believe Griffith if those prophecy were known since the falcon of darkness is supposed to be somewhat deceitful.
@ Corr Terek
The band of the hawk were still used as a stepping stone for Griffith to become royalty. That's more than enough reason to be wary of him.
"I don't give a rat's ass about going to hell. I guess it's because I feel like I'm already there." -MugenIt's still people of an entirely different station. Easy enough for the nobles to convince themselves that Griffith wouldn't do anything like that to people of their standing.
Oh damn, that's cynical... but I can totally see it being the case. They might even call him wise or brave, chalking it up to a different sort of Heroic Sacrifice for the greater good (AKA their good).
@Corr Terek
So long as there's people outside of Guts natural circle of friends then yeah there's enough dirt on Griffith to prove he's a sham.
"I don't give a rat's ass about going to hell. I guess it's because I feel like I'm already there." -MugenI'm not talking about there being enough evidence, I'm talking about whether the nobles would care. Right now Griffith is benefiting them. The people that suffered by Griffith's hand are largely not nobles, and in fact came from some of the lowest levels of society in many cases. The few nobles who have suffered at his hand (such as the former queen) were generally regarded as terrible people anyways.
Heck, even the Pope is endorsing Griffith, despite his monster army. His human soldiers fight alongside them. People don't want to think badly of Griffith.
Precisely. I'm not saying that things will definitely play out that way, but the nobles of Berserk have not given me much hope for anything else. With a few exceptions.
"People don't want to think badly of Griffith."
Spot on. Also applies to the common folk whose lives are better within the walls.
Basically, Griffith has a gigantic city full of hostages.
If justice is served against him, the main pillar of the city falls, apostles and magic monsters go crazy.
Basically it is the tower of the crazy priest all over again, except it isn't "save crazy innocent witch" vs. "save thousands"; it is "kill total asshole" vs. "save thousands"
Realidade
YES! Get to seeing some Falconia and hopefully Guts and co's progress.
