A few hundred? How many levels can you possibly gain?
It's one thing to make a spectacle. It's another to make a difference.999 is the level cap of most Neptunia games with all the DLC and such, rebirth3 had all that DLC included.
I think vs Sega and Mk 2 are the only two games that only go up to 99 outside of those games made in different styles.
But to be clear, you never need to go into 3 digits, or even close, for just the main story. In fact, in the PS 3 games, extra levels past 99 were DLC.
Yeah, that 3 dungeon thing I mentioned is post story anyhow. Hell, the scenes there aren't even voiced (unlike the post-story with Bamo and Regu)! Although I think that few hundred probably mean 500-600+...my lv ~350 characters still can't survive enemy contact there...

Give me cute or give me...something?I beat the first RB without getting the good ending, getting the Shares in their proper spots was work I wasn't interested in doing. I might do new game later to tackle some bonus bosses and junk though, but I'd rather move on to the second game. I've really liked what I've heard of Nepgear as a character.
There really isnt much to see in Rebirth 1 outside of getting all the CPU candidates into the party and see those scenes, which does change the true ending just a bit. It kinda makes a good lead into Rebirth 2 so look em up on youtube[1]. (although remember Rebirth 2 is in another universe.)
I like Nepgear, she gets a lot of crap as an MC for not being goofy Neptune, but I liked her as the lead in Rebirth 2. They bring in some of her future quirks and generally bring her closer to her Victory self in it as well.
Out of the candidates Uni is my fav, its a shame that in every game she has been in she has been the worst CPU gameplay wise.
And for godsakes do not go for the conquest ending in rebirth2 unless you are prepared for it.

I've heard over and over and over again about how bad it's supposed to be and know pretty much exactly what happens, I doubt it'll bother me.
The Conquest Ending: For when you really just want to feel bad about the fact that developers who include multiple endings needing to include a bad end.
I actually never disliked the Conquest Ending. It always came across to me as Black Comedy.
I never bothered with most of Re;Birth2's endings. There are simply too many, and ain't nobody got time for that.
For all the game's I've just watched LPs instead of actually playing them. Too much grinding for my taste.

I like that Nepgear's a nice change of pace from Nep-Nep, she's cute, but not overly so and seems to have a cool head on her shoulders. I wasn't sure what to make of her at first, but I think I really like her, at least thus far.
I'm kinda confused on the Stella thing. SO it's a game where you can't actually play it? You just give her gear, send her on a dungeon, and it either works or doesn't? Seems really lame to me.
It's worked out pretty well for me, but they're dressing it up way too much by calling it a "mini-game".
It's one thing to make a spectacle. It's another to make a difference.Yeah, that makes sense. Calling it a minigame is a misnomer then.
I think I might have to restart a new save, i might've gotten stuck somewhere. In chapter 2 I haven't had any bosses yet and just got Uniin my party. I checked all the information stuff and got the one with C Ompa, I think IF, but it's not not there so I must have. Either way the Resort map popped up, I didn't take it right away, and the boss doesn't show on the map and I've accepted all the Guild quests.
Okay, I got it again. Had a spare save before the beginning of the chapter, lost some level grinding, but it's all good.
So, I had to fight Anonydeath and Yellow Heart twice because the game crashed on me the first time. That was fun. The only saving grace is that that second time I made sure to get out Vert so she could Terai Division the hell out of Yellow Heart, so whenever she pulled out her "fuck you" attack, it missed.
Yo, Idea Factory? Can we talk about the word "autosave"?
It's one thing to make a spectacle. It's another to make a difference.I can't think of a single JRPG on the market other than Final Fantasy XV, which has more in common with WRPGs, that does autosave.

Well it might be a good time to start, then, huh?
It's one thing to make a spectacle. It's another to make a difference. The Legend Of Heroes Trails In The Sky autosaves on PC as does Final Fantasy X on PC. The Legend Of Heroes Trails Of Cold Steel is likely to autosave as well.
XIII-2 and Lightning Returns always autosaved.

Eh, I disagree. It's one thing if the games allowed you to save anywhere to begin with, but when there are set save points, autosaves mess with game design.
Not to mention that, if you had a crash after a boss fight, whatever autosave would likely have been corrupted and it would not have helped you.
Forgot about those, since I never used the autosaves. Most of those support my point, however - games that allowed you to save anywhere to start with.

^ They're bullshit yes. Pretty sure they're only meant for when you hit a few hundred levels.
