I like all of the characters.

Wait wait wait, how can you have the Alpha kids ranked so high? We barely know anything about them yet!

We know enough about Jake to know that I like him.

Also, the yarnball wasn't magic. The magic one was as white as a wizard beard and it glowed.

Yep, the magic one was never used to bean Dave in the head.

The yarn ball was not magic. Dave just had that soft spot babies have on his head, his skull never closed correctly, and Rose knew it, so she used his weaknesses.

I guess that's a minor point in her favor. She could cruelly exploit Dave's physical handicaps, like some manner of ableist.

Also, she had a good, accurate throwing arm.

I did not miss that. But she was not necessarily being manipulated. She may have simply been stringing him along so as to acquire a whole bunch of free information. That's exactly what she did with the trolls after all. She specifically says that she was gathering as much information from as many sources as possible, in order to decide what to do. Its just that, when she found out her mom died, she threw her plan out the window and went with Scratch's plan. Which he knew would happen because he timed it flawlessly.

I always think this. The new kids are cool, but I simply cannot understand how you can compare them to characters with more than two years of development.

They are all my sweet babbies and I love them all dearly as my lovely PTSD-suffering children. Well, Strider acts enough like an adult that I don't feel the need to mother him.

Yarn is Dave's kryptonite. Thank god nobody prototyped with a knitting expert.

Nope. She had always been planning to go with the Scratch's scratch plan. That was the plan. Scratch getting her to look in the ball just made her go grimdark, resulting in her losing her spare life so that Dave would come after her preventing DD from stopping the Tumor. That's all.

She was already hooked, lined and suckered into going along with his plan.

Haha, well I edited because I figured the thing I was responding to was probably sarcastic.

Tavros was a well written, so my hate is justified.

To answer your question, people hate Tavros because they are insecure in the face of his huuuuuge horns and know that even as a wheelchair bound pussy, he is easily ten times more manly than they are.
