I already suspected it, but the canon fantrolls being in both Universes (bar Descendant shenanigans) seems the clincher.

@RenegadeShroom: that's actually a cool theory and I hope it happens. there aren't a billion other ways to escape death if you don't play the goddamn game, and it may mean the canon fantrolls are something more than living wallpaper.

also, I never said they had to die offscreen. what's the point of a big showy meteor apocalypse if you don't show it as an explosive ending? but as I said, I hope it doesn't happen, and as you said, it'd be kinda shitty.

also also, even if there's a thread for Hiveswap, it can always be discussed here too (especially when comparing stuff with the comic/discussing lore). after all, this is a HS-themed game.

wait and see, I guess. if they do escape to Universe C, I expect it to be vaguely nicknamed "another universe" because they want to keep continuity lockout away. ^note unless they manage to explain the English loop in a way that doesn't require players to read the comic. I dare them to do it.

Okay, I didn't back the game so I'm out of the loop re: all the new characters y'all seem to know about. I know Joey, Jude, Dammek, and that's it. Who's this Xefros I keep hearing about, and Trizza? New trolls, I presume? Does Trizza's name rhyme with "pizza?" I will assume that it does.

I also know that Roxy is in it, somehow.

Where can I turn to get the cold hard facts on Hiveswap?

I feel like we shouldn't be getting hiveswap updates on the homestuck site but on the actual hiveswap page itself.

@Thrice: Trizza is the Heiress that's been shown off and the potential Big Bad. Xefros is the Troll that's friends with Dammek and that Joey will meet when she lands on Alternia. Roxy is in the game maybe. It's the version that became Rose's Mom as it seems she played an older sister to Joey and Jude. We haven't seen her in game but rather in pictures with her as a teen and the kids as babies.

What Pumpkin is back, but its catalogue is somewhat limited. I browsed there a couple nights ago, in fact.

Yeah, the newsletter by Hussie mentioned What Pumpkin, and had a link to a What Pumpkin store, and I clicked the link and saw the page, and I was confused.

Damn, I never saw that! The site looks good. It's better than WLF which just chugs when you scroll down far enough and makes you wait for the load in.

My friend feels the same way about ME Andromeda. "The story was finished and adding more just feels too excessive and uninteresting". And no I'm not trying to say that I feel that way about Hiveswap. Homestuck 2.0 though, yes. Hiveswap's still interesting.
