I like this, although because my tendency to forget some details, it can be a bit hard to follow at times.

I'm rewatching the first season, and I am just as awestruck as the first time I watched it. I'm also reading the manga now, which I couldn't do after I watched the series - and goddamnit I need to see this stuff animated!!

I also need to get around to finishing the manga backlog - I'm up to like Chapter 74 of 81.

As of chapter 85, they're now seniors (I'm in the middle of the chapter right now; there's still 86 after this...). Ahh the feels. There's this sad atmosphere throughout the chapter (and the few before too) because they know this will be their last year hanging out as a group. Everyone will be walking down their own paths in life. Some will be staying, some will be leaving for the city...and Yano in particular plans to go overseas after graduating from university.

I really really like this manga. Feels like it might end pretty soon. I don't want it to end but...I also really want to see what happens to them eventually, like what career choices they'll eventually make and stuff like that. I feel so torn.

Got caught up with this series lately, and what really stands out to me when looking over past reactions is...really? Kurumi got major hate for being a manipulative Alpha Bitch in a Tastes Like Diabetes series? That's what makes her, IMHO, the best damn character it has! Not only was she a stand-out because of it, but her Character Development is more dynamic than the rest of the cast's because she started out so drastically different from anyone else, making her gradual change that much more noticeable.

Also, recent chapters have made me prefer Sawako and Kurumi together better than either of them with Kazahaya. Yes, I went there.

Chapter 95: Argh the feels, they're killing me! One Beta Couple went down! And Yano's gonna try to learn and grow.

I officially love this manga. Best romance manga out there, period.
