I just noticed there are no Fire/Fairy types.
What types still haven't been combined yet?

I want a Fire/Electric type. One of Rotom's forms is that, but I kinda feel like that only kind of counts.
Tangent, but in Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards, you have eight elements, and you have two slots, so you can mix and match them.
Like, if you have cutter and fire, Kirby whips out a fire sword. Late in the game, I was fairly certain I had done most of the combos, but then I realized I hadn't done Fire/Electric, and thought that has to be something cool, like maybe a laser. Turns out that it's just Kirby rubbing something on his head to generate static electricity, then his head catches fire and he runs back and forth for a bit. I'm STILL disappointed by this. You can do a lot of cool things with a Fire/Electric combo, like a laser, and I would love for a pokemon to use this typing for something really neat.
Oh, also, there's no Bug/Dragon, which I imagine would just be the Xenomorph from Alien.

Makes sense. If that pink haired jackass Natsu can mix Fire and Thunder, then Pokemon should do it too.

On another note, I had an idea the other day for a Pokemon; a Bug/Water type based on an Odonata nymph that evolves into either a Bug/Dragon type (dragonfly) or a Bug/Fairy type (damselfly).

I would like Flygon to get a Mega evolution that's bug/dragon. But your idea is cute too, so maybe both? Also give Volbeat/Illumise Megas or evos that are Bug/Electric. And give signal beam back. I miss it.

The missing dual types are Normal/Ice, Normal/Steel, Normal/Rock, Normal/Bug, Ice/Poison, Fire/Fairy, Ground/Fairy, Bug/Dragon and Rock/Ghost.
Normal/Rock could just be a new fossil Pokemon or an ancient Lycanroc

For a fire/fairy type I can think of a star base pokemon that has a gimmick to become a black hole.

I think people have come up with fakemon ideas for every missing type combo, there's some great ones out there. Fire/fairy in particular feels like it has a lot of potential.
Dragonfly as Bug/Dragon is a pun that doesn't work in Japanese. It'd have to specifically be referencing the English name for the animal.

For some reason Electric has two type combinations that only exist on forms of Pokemon and not the original article. I am referring to Electric/Fire (Rotom possessing an oven) and Electric/Grass (Rotom possessing a lawnmower and a regional variant of the Voltorb line). Maybe even Electric/Ice since while Arctozolt isn't a form, it's this unnatural chimera of two different Pokemon

I brought it up before but it'd be cool if the region's Pikaclone was the middle stage of one of the starters. I mean, they already broke old trends with the Pawmi line so they might as well do something more nuts.

Coming up with nicknames for 1,000 Pokémon is a headache, and I often have a habit of giving the same one to a few by accident, thus making me have to go get their nicknames changed at a set location before a certain generation allowed me change them anytime, anywhere.
