May as well announce it here since I found out for Anom- I reached into the dark reaches of my Pokemon Bank and found that, yes, way back when in Gen V I traded around stuff constantly on the GTS in hopes a good Samaritan would grant me a Hidden Ability 'mon since my connection made the Dream World uselessly slow, and indeed I ended up with a pretty large chunk of the sum total of what was available at the time- Including the surprisingly rare Intimidate Qwilfish, only ever made available through the Dream World. If anyone besides Anom wants a piece of this prestige, just say the word and I'll breed one.

So if a Pokemon with Protean used Burn Up, what would happen?

I think it was tested and the move just fails at first because you aren't Fire-type when it's initiated. Not sure about subsequent turns.

I could use one, Assuming this'll be a gen 6 trade, are there any hidden ability stuff (dream ball or friend safari) you are looking for? I might have it.

Showdown stats up until now Tiers aren't going to be updated until January though, but we're sure heading for an Ultra Beast based meta it seems.

I see toxapex being banned.

Once the hype surrounding all the new toys to play with dies down, I see some of these usage percents dropping drastically. Still, good to see people playing with all the new mons available to them.

Alola Marowak is surprisingly high- no doubt due to the fact that he hard checks most of the ultra beasts.

toxapex isn't really banworthy

its annoying but from discussions i had with a lot of smogon people its also really passive

yeah it can scald and toxic but since burn's only really good for the attack drop its not nearly as bad as it could be

Well, nothing is banned from usage percent alone. Otherwise: Scizor, Lando and Heatran would've been banned several times over.

yeah scizor and friends have exploitable weaknesses

scizor being allergic to fire to the point it absolutely cant take a hit from even a weak fire move

landorus being weak to the common water, and incredibly weak to ice, plus its slower than a good deal of the metagame w/o scarf

and heatran is weak to the most common attack in the game, and can only use a temporary solution in the form of air balloon to alleviate this

likewise, toxapex is weak to psychic, which with Tapu Bele on the rise i expect to see a rise of psychics (especially alakazam), electric (not only is it already common enough, but Tapu Koko and Alola-Raichu make it even more threatening), and ground, which is again, the most common coverage type

Perfect Zygarde and Magearna were banned to Ubers so far, but that's it.

The lack of perfect Speed is the only real flaw, but c'mon, it's Avalugg.

How will Sinnoh play a role in Gen VII? Considering that the remakes aren't too far off from Sun and Moon, how will the events of a potential Diamond/Pearl/Platinum remake tie into the events of the Aiola? I know Heartgold and Soulsilver remakes had that Sinjoh region where you can meet with Cynthia.
