I really don't see them not finishing up Kalos with the third version. It's been a year longer than usual, yes, but they might have been waiting for the anniversary. This is probably gen VII I think but I don't believe that automatically means Z isn't coming.

If Sun&Moon are like GSC and we get to revisit Kalos than that'll make up for the lack of Z in my book.

And with that tweet it pretty much confirms we're getting Sun & Moon tomorrow.

I suppose that could be a possibility. As long as the whole Zygarde thing is given an adequate resolution, I'm more than ok with this.

Remember guys they aren't just going to abandon Zygarde.

real talk though I think Zygarde's really boring and kalos just isn't that great a setting or region so I'm personally totally cool with cutting losses and moving on.

They're not gonna do that, but hey.

Also they've foreshadowed a new region coming sooner than expected in X and Y, already what with the guy in the hotel and that strange item he gives you that Count of Bleck linked a little bit ago.

@"Leaked Megas": The birth of memes doesn't take long.

I had a lot of problems with X/Y, but aside from the dreaded Lumiose City, I don't think any of them really had to do with Kalos itself.

also anyone remember gen 4 anime with its assholish rival who was shown as an abusive, cold hearted asshole and we all wanted to see his comeuppance

and then at some point instead of getting it we were treated to "oh no he's just training differently. in fact YOU'RE the asshole for not accepting his methods

I'd like to point out that the leak can't be fake considering it's a registered trademark.

Anyway, I hope we get a Z version. As bad as kalos is, it deserves to be finished and have a chance to redeem itself.

Also, Sun and moon don't make a lot of sense as sequels to XY because they don't match any of XY's themes.

It's possible the trademarks are just being registered and aren't going to be used. Or they're being held for future use and won't be used now.

The timing makes it unlikely that we're not getting S&M tomorrow, but it's not set in stone yet.

Kalos isn't that bad. Sure it had it's problems, but it's far from bad.

,They wouldn't have bothered to make high-quality looking logos if they weren't going to use the trademarks.

Iirc there were plenty of unused trademarks revolving around colors and gems, as well as web adresses. Don't jump to conclusions just yet...

I like the look of Kalos a lot, most of the problems I saw as someone who hasn't personally played X and Y and mostly just watched a bunch of LP's most of the problems were with the plot and characters.

If it was just that it wouldn't lend it THAT much weight but we have logos as well, which makes it a bit more substantial.

I feel I would like XY a lot more had ORAS not stolen most of its thunder.

@Sterok: Looks like to me that GF has finalized the names of Gen 7 (to the point they got logos for them), so they're trademarking them just to get it done with. I still think that we're getting Zygarde's game before these, though Gen 7 might be announced a while after Z's release.
