I agree that pharmaceutical greed is bad, but I refuse to call it "big pharma" since I associate that term too much with anti-vaxxers.

In health/PE class, our teacher was talking about goals, and for an example, she pulled up a slide that said about some kid who planned to get a C on all his math tests for the quarter and a B on something else. I said out loud that a C is a terrible grade, but then my friend who’s in my health class said that it wasn’t, and a lot of kids agreed with him. Are they crazy? A C is a bad grade!

Eh, it's average. Not great, but not failing. Some people consider that a good grade.

I associate Math with the color red, Science with the color green, Social Studies with the color yellow, Reading with the color blue, and English Language Arts with the color purple.

I primarily get into Western Animations... solely to make fanmade Survivor and The Amazing Race seasons out of them. This is something I've been doing ever since I became a fan of Survivor 5 years ago, and as of now I already have 31 shows to make seasons of that and The Amazing Race. The most recent shows I discovered are The Great North, The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder, and Adventure Time: Fionna and Cake.

I have shows both new and old^note  even ones that were made way before Survivor and The Amazing Race like the 1993 show SWAT Kats, and to date I have 15 Survivor MS Word documents and 9 of The Amazing Race with 10+ "seasons" per document. It used to be for Super Smash Bros. and Power Rangers vs Super Sentai, but I found a better home with Western Animation.

I kinda do the same, though I think Social Studies is blue for me given that it was the color of all my notebooks back then.

I’ve managed to learn numerous Brazilian Portuguese words through a song I like. I can even form three sentences.

I normally hate Reddit being so stringent on new posts but their filter saved me from looking like a moron today.

I don't actually mind "filler" in cartoons.

The way some people talk about filler is like this filler thing was the offending show becoming real and murdering their mother. I am starting to have less sympathy for the filler hating faction.

I feel like "filler episodes" of series are a good thing, especially for character development; not everything has to immediately forward the plot.

If people just used filler to say "Shoddy Time Waster Episodes" I would be way more sympathetic. If you enjoyed yourself watching its not really a problem.

While I rarely watch story-driven shows that are long enough to have filler in the first place (love my niche 13 episode animes lmao) I feel like I wouldn't really mind episodes like that - episodes that focus more on characters and how they act outside the plot sounds great to me!

One of the only people, real or fictional, I read something with their voice is former Fox Kids CEO Margaret Loesch. I read it when I read interviews she has had.

Despite enjoying music, I for some reason don't tend to like it when people sing to music that's playing. I think part of it is that I'd rather listen to the song itself than hear people sing over it.

I can relate to some degree as I often enjoy the instrumentation to a song more than the lyrics depending on what they're saying. I also love a lot of instrumental music in general.

I tend to prefer lyrics, mostly because I tend to daydream to the song and having lyrics helps to make the "music video" so to speak. I rarely just listen passively

Continuing with the theme of songs, when I get a song in my head, eventually, the imaginary lyrics devolve into gibberish.

I got banned from another Discord server today. It was probably due to me putting down Dreamworks and seeing them merge with Illumination in the future.
