So after doing things in other places, I look back at the whole Broken Base of 'Viktor's defenders and Jayce's detractors', and am I the only one who thinks of this myself?
The real villain of the whole thing was Stanwick Piddly.
He's probably one of the more prominent Villain with Good Publicity, he plagiarizes Viktor's works and take all his credits, pushing Viktor too far and eventually got him to play the 'desperate amoral scientist' that eventually stormed Jayce's home. Unfortunately for Viktor, Stanwick has built up such a reputation that they don't dare to touch his name, so the only person Jayce can retaliate to is Viktor for destroying his lab just because he disagrees with his method.
Basically, while Stanwick just sits down and drink his ass off in the office, Viktor also got turned into the fall guy and scapegoat for 'superheroes' like Jayce.
Yet people never blamed Stanwick on it, and instead the blame just falls on Jayce or Ekko for eating the 'good publicity' of Stanwick and blaming Viktor.
Am I the only one who thinks so and doesn't simply fall to blaming those who oppose Viktor are jerks?
Does he even exist anymore??? I haven't heard him mentioned in ages and we had that lore reset button pressed awhile ago...

Wasn't the only thing reset the in-universe existence of Summoners and the League? Some champs' stuff got retconned with Azir's release, and that was mostly just attaching them to Shurima. But for the most part, unless their lore expressly relied on the existence of Summoners (Maokai) it should be the same, just maybe awaiting a TL;DR-ing.

In other news, I somehow made it to gold IV. I didn't really planned on progressing, but I got in a victory streak, in no small part thanks to Viktor.
Fingers crossed for a Victorious Viktor skin as a reward this season.

I played Ashe for the first time since her rework yesterday, and I very much like her. Her passive is unique and interesting, and makes crit chance just as viable, but removes the mana aspect of Frost Shot. I ended up winning lane against a Kalista/Lulu combo and ending up 8 to 5 by endgame.
Since Frost Shot no longer costs mana, is Runaan's Hurricane a viable build choice?
