Sly Cooper. HELL. FRIGGING. YES.
Sure, I never got past the first boss battle, but those first seven levels will be forever imprinted in my mind.
My first video game was Zork, I think. It came with our second computer. On a 5 1/4 inch floppy. Gods, I am old. I spent a very, very long time trying to solve that game.
Others I grew up with: Pac Man, Space Invaders, Asteroids, Sonic The Hedgehog, Super Mario Bros, Final Fantasy, The Legend Of Zelda, Duck Hunt, Prince Of Persia, Commander Keen, Space Quest and Kings Quest, Doom, and a bunch of old ASCII computer games I can't remember the names of.

I grew up playing Street Fighter (I forget which ones), Legend of Zelda (a little of Oo S,Oo A, A Ltt P, and Oo T) Sonic the Hedgehog (mostly the first 3) Super Mario Bros (Super Mario 64, Mario Kart), Donkey Kong Country, Kirby, Phantasy Star II and Phantasy Star IV, Seiken Densetsu 3, Streets of Rage (all three), Gunstar Heroes, Wave Race 64, Bomberman (don't remember which ones), and Super Smash Bros Melee. I think that was between the ages of 6 and 13.

AC:NL Dream Address: 5200-2582-5967Super Mario Bros. 3 (on the original nintendo system) and Yoshi's island for the SNES were my sister bonding games. Beyond that, i was introduced to Zelda when i was 11 and have been in love ever since.
Doodles
The first games I ever had - I was three years old at the time - were Super Mario Allstars w/ Super Mario World, Super Mario Kart, The Legend Of Zelda A Link To The Past and Sonic The Hedgehog 2 for the Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis, respectively. Man, those games pretty much solidified my interest for those three series. To this day, I still play those games every now and then, albeit through Totally Legal Means for Super Mario Kart.
