Good series bad picture: Villainous Breakdown

The Ace Attorney series has indeed provided us with very entertaining Breakdowns. But Wellington's is far from the most over the top and the character himself isn't very memorable. I propose we get a pic of an Ace Attorney Big Bad. Quercus Alba or Kristoph Gavin would ones you could easily depict in stills.

Looks good to me. He's definitely wigging out. Though he doesn't look Obviously Evil, but that's not easy to get in a picture anyway.

Agreed. It's not the best picture, but it's a good one.

I'd say just discuss alternatives here and if we decide we don't need to replace it fine... except we've got that automatic tag. Darn.

But there are far better images from the same series. And Wellington really doesn't look all that evil.

Alba's probably is best due to the fact that its both evil and over the top.

A combination of Scary Shiny Glasses and Blond Guys Are Evil should do the trick.

It doesn't really look like he's having a breakdown.

Plus he's mostly hidden behind the caption.

How about we do something similar to the Jerkass Woobie page?

Have the villain in his/her most evil Psychotic Smirk//Slasher Smile expression in one panel, then the most spectacular breakdown expression in the other. Either Lelouch or Azula could be good for this, what with the rather extreme expressions they tend to wear.

Not so much over-the-top villainous for the first pic as cool, calm, and in control. Azula is, as mentioned, excellent for that.

Huh. I thought the aforementioned expressions indicated(most of the time) that the villain was being a bit gloatingly self-indulgent. Standard expression after a successful Xanatos Gambit and all that.

Plus, Obviously Evil.

The issue, though, is that with the more... deranged evil expressions, it can be quite hard to tell the difference between before and after for the Villainous Breakdown.

Only if the picture demonstrates a clear, radical departure from his usual demeanour.

Hades has a great visual for when he is breaking down he Turns Red. [1]◊ [2]◊

I cant find a good pic that can be put side by side.

Might want the non-breakdown picture to be his usual cheerfully sleazy used-car-salesman demeanour, there.

I found a couple of pics which I think are good examples for Hades.

I'm trying to think of better captions, but you get the idea.

That doesn't look as much like a breakdown as Hades just being pissed off about something.

Fair enough. I got another one by taking a screencap from a Youtube video. I think this one captures the insanity angle of the breakdown better, but the image might be of a lower quality. Any thoughts? I'm not very good at editing images, so feel free to turn it down.
