So what happens if you fuck up and end up going by yourself? Is it possible to not meet the Stranger?

You only go to the sewer alone if you go alone. You still have to come back to the mansion.

And it's NOT a fuck up. Some players stated that they turned down the offers of help because they felt they didn't want to put anyone else in danger.

Lee cutting his own arm off is pretty brutal. By comparison, Christa/Kenny/Ben doing it is tame.

Or did you mean that as a group?

No, I just imagine if Ben is the only one with you, he does it. If Kenny is the only one with you, he does it. And any other configuration has Christa doing it.

EDIT: I was wrong.

Anybody else getting this bug? I'm on episode 3, the part where you have to get Kenny to stop the train. The problem is that when I try to get my cursor to the door to leave the compartment with Katjaa and everyone in it, it won't reach it; It's like there's an invisible wall where Katjaa is. I uninstalled and reinstalled it, but it didn't do anything; in fact it still had my saved game for some reason. Also, I can walk through Ben. I've asked around everywhere, and people have the same problems, but have gotten no solutions.

Help me Tv Tropes, you're my only hope.

Since this game is coming in a collection on the 11th, I have to know, is it worth getting? I usually avoid licensed games like the plague.

Although, this game does seem to be an example of No Problem With Licensed Games, in much the same way that Goldeneye007 and The Chronicles Of Riddick Escape From Butcher Bay did it.

Again, I'm still a bit uneasy on the fact that it is based of a TV show. Is it really that good?

Technically, it's based on the comics. And yeah, it's THAT good.

Technically it's based off the comics. The gameplay being a point and click adventure may not seem all that exciting if you just seen snippets, but the real focus is the story which is very effective at tugging at your emotions.

You sure? I just don't want to end up with yet another lazy cash cow game.

Plus, after Tell Tale disappointed with the Jurassic Park game...

Go through this thread and see how many tropers have invested a lot into the game and have gotten much more out of it. You may end up with something that doesn't fit your own personal preferences but the game is definitely more than a cheap cash-in.

I don't play it, by the way, but I've been following this thread and the responses clearly indicate that this is a game people like.

It's based on the same material as the show, a comics series of the same name.

I enjoyed these episodes pretty damn much.

This isn't even really a "licensed" game. It's more like an Expanded Universe work.

I was uneasy about this game at first too, but it quickly won me over and is probably the best game I've played all year. I'm a huge fan of the source material already, though.

The Collector's Edition comes with a 1000 compendium of the first Walking Dead comics, for starters. Getting the Collector's Edition is like paying $5-10 for the game itself along with the compendium. Also, the Collector's Edition compendium comes with bonus art.

Watch a let's play. If and when you feel like you really want to start making the choices yourself, get it.

The Jurassic Park game is honestly one of Telltales weakest products. This, in my opinion, is their best game so far. I was already a big fan of theirs after Back To The Future and Tales Of Monkey Island, and this game was still a pleasant surprise to me.

I gotta say that I approve.
