Skipping the ep to watch the debate...
The sad, REAL American dichotomyYeah I just realized, Supernatural airing at the same time as the debates... ouch. SOMEONE does not like this show.
Ha. I skip the debates to watch Supernatural!
I'm a skeptical squirrelI'll watch Supernatural later~
I skipped the debates too.
Place your past in a book burn the pages let them cook.Heh, so Dean's been to Heaven, Hell, AND Purgatory...Imma call him Dante from now on.
And Kevin's got a spell to lock up demons forever...but not all the other monsters.
Hm.
Deante.
Also, we did have a spoiler tag policy for the next couple days after an ep debuts, right?
Oh hey, it's already on the website.
- The new title slide is one of my favorites.
- Sam keeps such ridiculous hairstyles.
- He looks kinda good in stubble, though, no homo.
- I wonder if they'll drag out the revelations of their time apart or not. That vampire's totally coming back at some point. Good. I like him.
- Except that episode ending was eye-roll worthy.
- Let me save you guys the trouble of what you go through every season: you're both jerks. And secretive. And co-dependent.
- Demons are sooooo subtle.
- Everybody loves flashbacks!
- Lol, Safety school.
- So predictable through and through. Sam, Dean and Crowley... And of course, bad things happen to people who meet the Winchesters.
- Episode preview looked good, at least.

The sad, REAL American dichotomySo I started watching this show about a month ago.
This is officially my favorite live action show after seeing that 'Tall Tales' episode. That was hilarious.
Love that trickster guy.
Love the characters and how the show pretty much always manage to surprise me. Admittedly, I am pretty easy to entertain, but hey, not gonna complain that things work out my way. :p
The Great Northern Threadkill.Yeah, the Trickster is my favorite character too.
They really did pick well the actor to play him. Such a delightfully smug face.
The Great Northern Threadkill.SWEEPS!
Yeah, the Trickster is damn near everyone's favorite character. He's amazing. How far are you into the show?

The sad, REAL American dichotomySup Wander.
Tall Tales is actually the last episode in the sequential order that I saw. That would be Season 2.
But I have seen some episodes from the later seasons before.
I have seen the trickster in another episode before. That eternal cycle.

The Great Northern Threadkill.Mystery Spot? The one with the song "Heat of the Moment"? Yeah, that was probably my favorite.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyYup, that was great. These guys must have such incredible fun acting these characters.
The Great Northern Threadkill.@Keybreak: Dean has been to Heaven, Hell, Purgatory AND Avalon. And Earth of course. I'd love if they did something with that in the future.

You lost! He's also been to the future, hasn't he? And definitely the past. And Limbo, if that's what undeath is like.
How many more dimensions are there.
Well, there's the punch dimension. He's also been to "ours".

The sad, REAL American dichotomyKevin's mum is a badass.
Tiger mom and all that jazz.
I believe there's one made entirely of shrimp, he might like that. Though he may tire of it quickly.
Watching the episode now.
- Tiger mom is... awesome. Why is she called that, though?
- Huh... I've actually heard of that. I think I recall it being mentioned in school or an excerpt used in an SAT or something.
- I wonder if they've ever gotten around to putting a layer of iron to protect the Impala. Etched with devil's traps, preferably. I doubt it, though.
- Ha, not only do they not exercise anymore, they put the demons back in. Damn shame they lost the demon killing powers, though.
- ''What. WHAT? He just reversed the polarity on an exorcism?
- Should've mentioned it before, but it's a reeeeeeal good thing Crowley had just those two guys watching Kevin, and no one outside or anything to follow him.
- Tiger mom makes taxes AWESOME! Also Dean is surrounded by "nerds" and somehow is the only one uncool.
- Pimp in the cool suit looks familiar...
- I'm just gonna go ahead and not believe that the right hand of a Pagan god can actually enforce anything when push comes to shove. They've been getting so outclassed lately.
- Funny how now they're so attached to Ruby's knife. Especially Dean.
- Break to talk about the Arrow commercial: Why did I not expect Black Canary? Also, people do seem to like shared universes, DC...
- Seriously though, were they that stupid as to think they'd actually bid with money?
- Robbing the god of is probably a bad idea. And not gonna work, anyway.
- Saw that sale coming. inb4 it's given freely, or some Diabolus ex Machina.
- Wow. A lighter. Why didn't we think of that sooner?
- Would it be so much to ask that they keep the hammer? Also, excellent Chekovs guns.
- Greed getting out-greeded sounds familiar. I choose to believe he's weak because he's no longer a planet.
- If only Dean or Sam just said the incantation backwards again to put him back in her, especially since this was one of those necessary sacrifice episodes.
- Inb4 Crowley has a fake tablet. Especially if Kevin made a duplicate.
- Soooooo... gone with the angels, then?
This really is the season of facial hair.

The sad, REAL American dichotomyIt's a reference to a book about some asian woman who talks about how her asian mother had her grow up in her asian household. "Tiger Mom" refers to the high expectations asian mother.
I am 100% on board with Dean walking around this season with that chopper from Purgatory... and Sam hauls around Thor's hammer.
But it doesn't look like that's gonna happen. I'll be pleasantly surprised if it does.
I love it's Mark Gatiss saying that. He's quite sentimental about killing people off in most of his Who work. I think only The Unquiet Dead, Invaders From Mars and Nightshade have any kind of a body count in terms of sympathetic deaths (or any deaths, really). That's about 3/11 scripts.
