Hooray! So, where are we, specifically?

OK. So I'll just be in a random forest doing random stuff near said town, and I won't be stepping on any plot-related toes?

No... But it would be better to integrate yourself into the group via a mission. A recruitment like in the real PMD games.

Here we go...

• Name: Ryder

• Species: Ralts (

• Moves: Confusion, Calm Mind (Learned via TM), Quick Attack, Shadow ball (learned via TM)

• Member of: Team Darksun

• Personality: Very quiet and stoic. Always in thought. Unconfident in himself. Considers completing the mission the most important thing and is willing to go to less than morally accepted actions to do so.

• Appearance: Just a regular ralts, nothing out of the ordinary.

• History: At a young age, Ryder decided it was his life ambition to lead a rescue team. His parents even contributed giving Ryder a few TM's ,various berries and allowing him to use their home as the rescue base as he built his rescue team. One day however, he got into a fight with his parents after his rescue team grew too large and Ryder continued to try to run the team without his parent's help and ended up taking a mission way over his head. His entire team perished in the dungeon and Ryder had to be rescued. Aghast after a few months of Isolation Ryder decided to start a new team. He named it "Darksun" after his favorite childhood story.

• Strengths: Has a great tactical mind and is deadly with special attacks and defense.

• Weaknesses: Very weak to physical attacks. Lacks the assertiveness and confidence of leadership.

• Aspiration: Ryder always wanted to run a rescue team since he was a child and wants to create the best rescue team ever.

Ehh. The parent thing is a little iffy, but other than that it looks good.

No worries mariorguy I don't plan on using it as Angst Sue fodder. (In fact, the only sorrow he really has is from failing his last rescue team.). I just figured young pokemon can be irritable like young people (He's older now though)

I was wondering if I could get into this? I am up for joining any open team. I really want to play an eevee-lution if that's okay.

Well, you'd have to start out as an Eevee first. But there's no team you can join right now.

Hmm, looking at your character sheet, you would have to be recruited by a team during the RP.

Having someone to recruit would be good for the PMD feel.

• Name: Rigbix
• Species: Elgyem
• Moves: Confusion, Side Change, Charge Beam, Energy Ball
• Member of: Whoever recruits him/wants the token alien.
• Personality: Rigbix, because his understanding of the native language comes from a dictionary, is prone to Spock Speak. He's a wallflower, not wanting to disturb the social dynamics he is assigned to study. He's very quiet, and always seems to be jotting something new down. Everyday occurences amaze him.
• Appearance: He's the only Elgyem currently on (PMD planet). He also carries a notepad with strange alien symbols on it everywhere he goes.
• History: Rigbix, like all Elgyems and Beeheyems, is from the once-lush planet Elgyheyem. Elgyheyem has been reduced to a Crapsack world by a battle between a Deoxys and the local legendary, with regular acid rain storms. Colonization scouts are regularly sent out to find a suitable place to live, but seldom find one before returning.

Rigbix is one of these scouts, assigned to the world the Elgyheyems call Peyemdee. His ship malfunctioned when entering the atmosphere to take samples and has crash landed in the desert, perhaps interesting some who want to see the shooting star. He's already sent back to Elgyheyem regarding the viability of the atmosphere and presence of civilization.

• Strengths: Excellent psychic powers. Telepathic communication.
• Weaknesses: Still doing chemical analysis to see if the food is edible for him. Physically weak. Can't take a punch. Bizarre Alien Biology is in full effect.
• Aspiration: Rigbix wants to generate goodwill for the Elgyem/Beeheyem species so the 500 of them that are left can move to (PMD planet) in peace. To do this, he's writing a guide on the planet and local customs.

Anyways, there actually are some spots open due to some people leaving the RP. Not sure which team is willing to take you in.
