Basically Exactly What It Says on the Tin. What do you want in a squad in the next Mass Effect game?

Recruitable Hanar.

That is all.

Anderson. Volus, hanar and elcor squadmates would be nice too.

King Zeal, I believe you think too small. I demand Blasto.

I want more of everything, honestly, but at the same time, I want as many of the old crew to return as possible. Linking back up with whoever survived Virmire, getting Liara back onto the Normandy, maybe even have Wrex be a squadmate in a few missions.

I also want all of the SR2's crew to stay, at least if you got the No One Left Behind ending in ME2. Otherwise, everyone who made it out of the Suicide Mission alive returns.

One interesting idea I heard was a Collector as a new crewmember. That would certainly be interesting. Just like how Legion was an interesting choice as a new teammate, being, you know, Geth.

We're probably going to see Raloi at some point, what with Mass Effect 2 establishing them as the new infant species in Council Space (taking humanity's place).

I would also like to get a Batarian, and a female member that isn't human, asari or quarian.

I'd also like to see the Normandy have non-squad crewmates ala Skies Of Arcadia, so that we can get more non-humans aboard. I understand that Hanar, Elcor and Volus (just to name a few) aren't considered combat species, but it'd be cool to fly with them at the very least.

^According to this, Elcor are bullet-proof and use BFGs. And Zaeed was once almost strangled to death by a hanar.

Yes, but mobility is a problem for both. Shepard and his/her crew are infantry.

If they get going at a good clip, they're probably pretty fast.

I kind of want to have a swarm of drones under my controll at some point. The codex said they're pretty heavily used by Alliance forces.

Interesting idea with that: couple them with Legion for more accuracy and better range from those drones!

I'm gonna be generic and say Wrex + Virmire survivor.

Oh and a Vorcha. Just cause.

Hey, here's another:

  • Depending on whether you destroyed the Collector Base or left it intact, you either get a large number of relatively weak Alliance Marines(destroyed Collector Base; works similarly to replacing fallen comrades in the original Ghost Recon) or a handful of Cerberus operators(kept Collector Base; can be Lost Forever, unlike the regular marines). Possibly even throw in fellow Spectres from other races(aiding the Council at every possible opportunity; similar to Cerberus operators but with greater variance in abilities).

Also possibly have space battles in the game with multiple different objective sets:

  • Each set of objectives corresponds to a certain faction, and by carrying out those objectives while destroying the Reapers, you gain loyalty bonuses from the faction it benefits. This will affect the ultimate ending of the game: Is humanity reigning supreme over the entire galaxy, or are all races working as one to destroy the enemy?
Possibly even have land missions structured like that.
How do those sound?

I wouldn't mind a Raloi squadmate, with him being eager to learn about the big new universe and all the people in it. I'm predicting a kind of "send people off to do things" kind of game, where you are with smaller squads that are sent to various trouble spots to rouse the fleets and get ready for reaper invasion.

I'm sorry, but I'm kind of looking forward to the explotative games that will follow. A space combat game would make me crawl up to Canada on my knees and kiss the doors of the Bioware offices until my lips either become frozen or the cops show up.

I guess an RTS might be cool too.

I demand Blasto.

This. Also, Conrad Verner.

More seriously, Kal'Reegar would be an awesome squadmate. And, since just about every other sentient race seen in the series thus far has been mentioned, why not a rachni? (Maybe a humanoid, or even a rachni drone, that the queen is capable of communicating through. Assuming she survived, of course.)

I think I know what you're all trying to say: we need to build a space helicopter!

^"Ah, yes", the counciler said before engaging in his famous air quotes "my shields," he raised them again. "are lo-" Shepard shook his head to get the blue Turian blood off.

You're all way off. A Thresher Maw Enforcer is the way to go!

Seriously, though, I think Kal'Reegar would make a cool squad mate. And it might be nice to actually get assistance from another Spectre for once.

Lots, check Cerebus Daily News.

At least one Salarian (may her eggs always hatch) one turian and one asari.
