World of Tanks

Well aside from the new open-top weakness, it seems to handle exactly as it did before. Got the Mastery Badge and 3 kills on the first match with it to boot.

Never again will I use the Torrent download to upgrade: it takes to long for my setup. But hopefully I haven't missed out on the Chaffee Race mode yet...

Shit, can't finish the update without something going wrong, I finished the "updating game client, receiving updates" part earlier today,, only for it to say tat a certain file wasn't found and now I have to restart the process...again.

This Chafee race mode is fun as hell

I finally got back in after a computer fix. And you are soooo right

So how long does the race mode lasts? Because I got through the receiving updates phase only to get an error message on the next phase.

And there goes my shot at an a free garage slot...still locked out of the 9.3 version due to the client refusing to upgrade from 9.2 to 9.3

I'm bummed because I fight realize it ended so soon. I easily could have finished the mission

Lately the game is really frustrating for me. I keep losing in the Sherman and the Ferdinand and especially the Tiger I is so horrible I earn less average XP than with the already subpar VK.36.01 H. It's the worst tank I have ever driven in this game. By far. At least it doesn't burn down as much since the 9.3 update. :/

I didn't like the M4. It's a bona fide Master of None. M4A3E2, on the other hand, is a nice little pocket heavy.

It's just worse than the Panzer IV H. Especially the gun is inaccurate.

I've been doing a lot of the Chaffee race to get the crew up, so I can transfer it to a Hellcat or Jackson for Tier 6 Strongholds.

Same, except it's for the light line. If you're on NA I'd platoon with you on it later

Oh wow, hating on the M4? Really guys? (looks at 64% record, most of it using the 76mm) The tank's one of the most comfortable tier 5s ever, barring the T-34 perhaps.

As for Chaffee races, people who have good ping really get the most out of it. Personally, I've been struggling, as the things are uncontrollable once you go over 200 ping, even with Autoaim.

EU server has a pretty simple "win five games a day once a day" mission that, if completed 15 times, nets you a TOG II*. I'm happy.

I'm jelly. We've v just got a 'do X number of kills' missions that once you compete a bunch of times gets you 2 garage slots, which I kinda need, but I'd like a TOG.

The TOG's a useless tank, but hey, you can sell it for a crapton of silver so it's not a total loss, eh?

It's also an absurdly huge box of hitpoints. Sure, the armor's bad and it's slow, but it has a good gun and enough HP to survive being penetrated by 152mm HE and then some.

And more to the point, it's a hilarious battle banana.

And three of them in a platoon is 3 times the fun!

The TOG jokes help make the match too.

From what I've seen the TOG II* is like a Churchill I taken Up To Eleven.

Only with the turret up front instead of in the middle and those treads sticking way out front.

I find the Chaffee drag race mode to be explosive-packed fun, but since you get nothing for a loss and I had an bot on my team...I rather troll my teams by driving my E 75 instead (2nd turret, long 105, nowhere near enough exp for the 128, still no match for a tier X medium.).

So anyways, I'm back to seal clubbing, E 75 demands silver.
