...so that was it then. Ye Thuza kills a woman within spitting distance of her husband for being obnoxious, and let us never speak of it again.
Yay.
My posts make considerably more sense read in the voice of John Ratzenberger.I kind of can't believe I'm saying this, but I think Kankri Vantas is a better example of this kind of character than Dorothy Cambridge. Part of it is that the subject of mockery is less of a political minefield (Tumblr social justice advocates don't really have the same "people think the radical wing represents all of us" problem that feminism does), but Kankri is also more obviously a parody rather than a possible case of "the author really thinks [feminists/social justice advocates] are like this." Kankri also has a counterpart (Porrim) who expresses the same sort of viewpoint in a much more reasonable way, and who calls him out on his ridiculousness. Dorothy didn't, even though a few different characters could have taken that role (Sandra, Ye Thuza)

Well. That was an abrupt transition out of the Cambridge arc.
At least Novil didn't post an "end of arc" message to readers, as he's sometimes done in the past. Normally those are interesting to read, but in this case I was expecting Mansplaining 101. Well, onward and upward. Let's hope that story wasn't a sign of things to come.
Given the talk of the position in Saudi Arabia, I'm more expecting a resolution involving said woman waking up in a crate bound for there. Didn't they do something like that with someone else, tranquilizing her and sending her off to the middle of the forest?
Ideal worlds And she plays too much Civ.
All I know is, my gut says maybe.I kinda think Woo & Co. are kinda going too far really...
Definitely going too far. This is crossing into Dude, Not Funny! territory really.
Huh. Larisa is the artist of the group, right? So she's the one who probably did all of the artwork (assuming that's not over-thinking it)?
Hoookayyyyy, I've got to admit I don't really see the humour in this. This is just really, really mean spirited.
That said, it will probably achieve the desired effect: Make him stop photographing animals when they mate.
"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."To be fair, Woo and Sid seem to recognise that this was all really a bit much, although it's certainly... on-the-nose. Not sure how I feel about it, although I expect that Shadow is not going to get out of this completely scot-free.
I'll hide your name inside a word and paint your eyes with false perception. Were it not that I think the storyline predates it, I'd wonder if this was inspired by the celebrity photo-hacking scandals.
I bet he actually is a perverted fox lover. He just doesn't normally display it like this.
If he didn't password-protect his comp, I'll think less of him (of course, that's hardly enough when someone has access to your computer: They can just extract the unencrypted hard drive, plug it into their own computer, and mess with it).
"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."Considering he was knocked out so quickly, I don't he had time to set his computer to lock mode.
And quite frankly, if it has what I think it has... well, I already think the group has crossed the line from "give some paypack" to "villains"
I don't read it so much as "give some payback", and more as "make him stop", which is a different concept.
Even though it's starting to look disproportionate to me as well. I thought they were going to cockblock him by bursting into his bedroom with video cameras, but the seem on the way to breaking his relationship.
That's likely too, given his reaction. And for starters, we know he posted the picture he took.

"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."Maybe they didn't do anything to his browser history in the first place. I mean, on average, pretty much any young(ish) male will have at least something shameful in there.
Except considering what we have seen so far... wanna bet they filled it with obvious stuff? Plus, anyone worth any skills knows how to turn incognito mode on and off.
New arc, I think.
She overplays a bit with the look skywards and the tears for personal performance, but as a stage presentation she was pretty good.
