The Indigo League, with the tournament at the Indigo Plateau? Kanto, basically. Orange Islands are sometimes lumped in, usually not.
Do you highlight everything looking for secret messages? After Kanto, I stop paying attention to the story; I just watch the battle animations. My favorites was the Charizard/cloned Charizard fight in the first pokemon movie and the Charizard/Magmar fight at the Cinnabar Gym.
I like the D/P series because the battles are not just recycled flashing lights behind the pokemon, but thay usually do stupid mistakes. The biggest one I seen was this piece of crap-

PS. That is flying/ normal type pikachu riding on, a FLYING TYPE!!!
"That ain't Falco""I can't believe that worked!"
Come on, why do you think I took that shot at the fanbase in Spotlight-Stealing Squad? I know how often that moment is mentioned.
But yay for Charizard matches~ Except that one time Ash didn't use his head and it lost against Brandon's Dusclops as a result.

Anyone else miss the old voice actors?
Well, some of them have shown up last season as well as this one...the only regulars who haven't are Eric Stuart and Veronica Taylor. Yes, even Maddie made a cameo before her death (the Mystery Dungeon Chatot). The new team has made definite improvement though.

It's a shame DP hasn't come here yet, but it looks very nice from what I heard.
Paul very nearly curbstomping Ash was a big wke up call though - Vindication will still be his at the League, of course.
You bet your ass it'll be saved for the League...maybe Monferno will have evolved into Infernape by that time, so it'll have a real Crowning Moment Of Awesome.
BTW, movie 13 will apparently have Lugia and Ho-Oh as the starring Pokemon. It was only a matter of time before the phoenix finally got a movie to itself.

Didn't a previous movie already have Lugia?
Hm. And I thought they tended not to repeat legendaries. :/
They Already repeated with mew, and yes Pokemon 2000 was centered around Lugia... I for one, am glad that Ho-Oh gets more recognition, I was severely pissed at the fact that It was made to be a huge deal, but then forgotten and surpassed (because no matter how important you are, you'll never be as big as Poke God)
Well, this is interesting indeed — Palmer (Barry's dad) is going to be making an appearance soon...voiced by Nobuyuki Hiyama! This can only result in awesomeness and a few Legend Of Zelda jokes.:p
Wait, Crack Monkey the First is going to be voiced by the most screamtacularly Hot-Blooded VA of all time?
...I don't care if I haven't touched a Pokemon episode in ten years, I must see this now!
(Also, screw the Zelda jokes — I'm just waiting for him to scream 'HIKARIII NI NAREEEEE!' when his Dragonite launches a Hyper Beam)

They probably thought they could get away with it, since Tailow is shown to be quite persistent in its first appearance episode. The excuse is that Tailow is reputed to never give up a fight, so much that Ash HAD to catch it to stop it from eventually killing itself trying to take too much of Pikachu's thunderbolts...
Anyways, I think the Hoenn arc is infinitely superior to the Johto arc, so as far as I watched. I like to think that the Anime is trying to make its own rules distinctively from the games, as long as it doesn't turn into stupidity.
Yeah, Ash's Swellow's reputation for being an A+ Determinator is the ONLY way to explain that. Well, that and Rule of Cool.;)
See, a problem for me is that "thunder armor" makes me think of a certain enemy from Castlevania: Circle of the Moon.

Evil Togepi is made of win. Looks like it'll be a recurring character too, which is AWESOME.
Speaking of Awesome, James led the rocket landing in kickass fashion. So added to its section.

Hey, Pika. I didn't know you came here too.
"When you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all" Futurama, GodfellasHi Geo~
You didn't know I came here? What took you so long to notice?
I suppose I simply didn't think about it until now. Things in my life have been so uncertain recently that I kind of ignore things too easily.
"When you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all" Futurama, GodfellasHere's something I don't get — the fallout from "Electric Soldier Porygon." The new rules to make sure there wasn't a repeat of the incident, great idea, quite sensible. But why was the episode banned? Why not just edit the explosions to be epileptic-safe? It couldn't be that hard, once the new rules were in place. Even weirder, why have Porygon and its evolutions not shown up since? It wasn't even involved with those explosions.
(Incidentally, the very first time I heard of Pokemon was reading about the seizures in a magazine.)
Well, it'd be less sensible to get rid of the mascot, so...yeah.
Which raises the obvious question: why get rid of anyone?
To avoid association of that Pokemon (and its evolutions) with the incident.
Because when these kind of things happen, heads have to roll.
What's Indigo again?
Also, I will confess, Wesley or not, I'll always adore Pikachu.
