Well, that was a pretty good episode. And of course it took me until now to realize that Roger Craig Smith voices Thomas, who had sounded suspiciously like Sonic and Ezio this ep.
Is it just me or is this show (not just this episode) getting really heavy on the continuity? Seasons 1-3 seemed like just simple stand-alone episodes, but now moments from past episodes (as shown here) actually become important plot points in later episodes (to be fair, this started in season 4, but it didnt really start getting continuity-heavy until sesaon 5). I dont consider this a bad thing as it allows character development, but i wouldnt expect it in a show like this.
I just saw today's episode. I didn't expect a Cartoon Network series to reference historical/current events! Such as the Cold War (or its current revival). But of course the spy plot turns out to be half-silly (Stealing a park?).
Apparently Thomas/Nikolai worked for the KGB (not the FSB). Another (intentional) anachronism on Regular Show (which seems to allude to the 1980s a lot)?

Also I could've sworn that there were knock-offs of Hillary Clinton and Vladimir Putin! XD

I lost it at how stupidly bad the Russian parks were, especially how Thomas genuinely says they have no idea why USA parks are so good.
Kinda sad to see that it's likely we won't see Thomas anymore.
I agree. They also kinda-sorta addressed it in "I Like You Hi" where Rigby questions Mordecai why he misses Margaret so much when there wasn't anything in particular that stood out about her to him (apart from lady pecs), and that CJ is way cooler than Margaret.
charles stiles mystery dinersNever mind. I just saw Justice League on Netflix, with the World War II episode. The Super Friends were killing Nazis in a Bloodless Carnage! I wonder if kids' cartoons can still get away with that?
Evidently, Cartoon Network allows a lot. How come didn't I notice this when I was a kid?

A The Looney Tunes Show episode was about a young Granny being a spy for the Allied side of WWII. Yes, CN allows this.
I rather enjoyed the last few episodes with Rigby. It's good that he can be hard-working and helpful if he wants or is needed (well it seems that the other characters finally noticed).
Mordecai was mysteriously ungrateful in one of those episodes. I guess he somehow forgot about some of the times Rigby has helped out when asked. Joann in the other episode seemed like random addition. I think the episode could've played out without her.
And Margaret is back. Getting involved with Mordecai and CJ seems inevitable, but I hope there will be no love triangle. I'm not really a fan of those...
The new episode was good, but I have to ask: retcon? Or was this their evil plan for Thomas all along? Either seems plausible to me.
Confirmed Bachelors: the dramedy hit of 1883!I think what happened to Benson at the beginning where the cast didn't even notice him breaking up with Audrey is something that'll be brought back up sometime. Something doesn't seem right. Even Skips shows concern for Benson, so this seems fishy.
I took it as a joke about how they have lives and elements of it that we don't see on-screen all the time. I mean, looking at some details, 2 years for Thomas having come and gone, Mordecai & CJ have been dating for months, Rigby's time spent with Eileen, and so forth.
Improving as an author, one video at a time.Question: How many Rusian viewers were really offended by this?
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceDoes Regular Show even have a large enough fanbase in Russia?

charles stiles mystery dinersI do wonder if this episode will air in Russia to be honest.
I just remembered that the whole "moving the entire park into another location through the air" happened before. Though that was by complete accident by Mordecai and Rigby.
charles stiles mystery dinersWill Thomas/Nikolai make a cameo in a future episode? I'd be surprised if they didn't.
If that female spy comes back to life, he'll warn everyone and help out.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceExcept for Death, Regular Show rarely reuses any antagonists.

I think Bobby Garret Furgeson and Clorgbane also counts.
They re-used alot more than what you're thinking.
They even had an entire Villain reunion thing for when Thomas first showed up and this is without just re-using them in general.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Finally saw the special, and it was good. Hopefully, that breakup with Audrey will get some focus since she was important to Benson and didn't get much screentime. One highlight of the episode includes Benson trying to punch Natalia only for his fist to get caught and crushed.
Thomas also mentioned getting pranked a lot, but I only remember that in his initiation episode. I'm quite sure he'll show up again.
I'm still saying that Benson's memories got tampered since the reaction from the park team was of confusion.
The more I think about it, the more of a point I think you might have. Since Skip's mind is a steel trap and for him to have forgotten seems odd to me.
Improving as an author, one video at a time.It tipped me off with the whole Spy stoof, Natalia, and Benson usually going to Skips for advice. You would think Skips would try to help Benson out during his supposed "depression".
I was just thinking that the new episode might be related to "Thomas Fights Back" since Thomas went undercover in that episode, and the "real" one might have not actually come back.
But I just saw the previews, and that doesn't seem to be the case. Also, I don't think the rival park had any Russians.
