So will the second half of this season wrap up the series or or is there going to be a third season?
Going off of the Mystery Incorporated game on Cartoon Network's website, I'd guess there'll be two seasons because they have slots for 52 mysteries, with one mystery for each episode.
"Don't worry, murder is a sign of affection." - An amalgamation of DunsparceI've heard that this series has a set end of 52 episodes, and honestly I'm glad. TV is plagued by pacing issues because of schedule uncertainty, so knowing exactly how long they've got and planning accordingly is a nice change of pace. The slow build in this show is extremely rewarding.
3 weeks huh? We've waited through worse. Plus, there's always Canada.
Despite my screen-name, ranting to you about One Piece is not my top priority. That was fantastic. Gotta love me some Van Ghoul (La Marche does a fantastic job with him).
Also, I love how this show takes Scooby Doo to new levels.
As an old school scooby fan (literally: I grew up watching SD:WAY?), I have REALLY enjoyed this series. It honors the classic HD stuff but gives it an interesting and dark twist.
BTW iTunes has all the eps for sale (in Hi Def!)
OK some thoughts on ep41: We see the friar's ghost warning them about how the curse corrupts the animal of the team; he also reminds them of the warning "THE DOG DIES" pointing to Scooby Doo. However, don't forget there is another dog involved here: Nova, the dog that belonged to Brad and Judy. My guess: what if it is Nova who betrays the gang and ultimately dies? After all, Nova has no reason to be loyal to Scooby and every reason to be loyal to Brad and Judy.
Also loved Blue Falcon and Dynomutt reappearing. plus the gang kicking serious butt.
I would love to see an episode focusing on the Blake family; maybe some backstory? At least, have someone kidnap Nan and all her daughters and tie them up, preferably in swimsuits or other sexy garments? (My one beef with MI: NOT ENOUGH DAPHNE BONDAGE. This would make up for that.}

I'm not found of the Nova idea, mostly because it feels like an easy escape from a real problem. I would prefer Scooby being tempted and over-coming the curse rather than Nova being a twist character.
Either way, I think the writers can make the end of this series satisfying.
Despite my screen-name, ranting to you about One Piece is not my top priority.I was kind of expecting Nova to try and tempt Scooby at some point, if he really will be the one to betray them...
"Don't worry, murder is a sign of affection." - An amalgamation of DunsparceThis is, quite possibly, the most intricate, detailed plot to come from a western animation I've ever seen.
I mean, they're tying together previously unrelated instances from the first season, all the way back to the second episode, and doing it well. Arc Welding at its finest. The second season finale has serious fanfic potential.
I mean, do Pericles and Mr. E know about Nibiru? What is it, exactly? If this thing's "memories" are dangerous, perhaps an Eldritch Abomination or Location is nearby, or perhaps the Location is the Abomination.
Not season finale, series finale. Aside from that, I agree entirely.
Despite my screen-name, ranting to you about One Piece is not my top priority.I just saw the latest episode. 'The dog dies '. Ghosts are real. Scooby might turn evil. 'Nibiru is coming'. What. The. Heck. I mean, is this Scooby-Doo or some weird show that stole its name?! *

RISEScooby Doo on Zombie Island and Scooby Doo and the Witch's Ghost. The show fits.
The Reaper Games starts anew.Zombie Island, Witch's Ghost are as light and fluffy as Shaggy Scooby Doo Get A Clue compared to this show.
I'm seriously falling behind on this show. Is there anywhere online I can watch the recent episodes?
TV-links is a wonderful thing, dubious legality non-withstanding.
Despite my screen-name, ranting to you about One Piece is not my top priority.I usually go to Watch Cartoons Online]] but I found Watch Series.Eu has kept up-to-date much better when it comes to Scooby-Doo. Word of warning though, the Blue Falcon episode is not the greatest quality.
Speaking of Blue Falcon, I'm only familiar with the character from watching Robot Chicken and Harvey Birdman. I know he's sort of a Batman copy-cat, but I never pictured him being a copy of the Frank Miller Batman.◊

It's a bad ideal to link to pirate sites, I learned that the thumped way. -_-

In the original series, he was more of a campy Batman spoof. As in, the old cartoons Batman, or Adam West Batman. Goofy as hell.
This Blue Falcon being more gritty is a spoof of how the Batman evolved in the current days, solidifying the Blue Falcon as "just" a Batman spoof.
Signatures are for lamers. For some reason, I thought the latest episode was the finale.
Well, the other wiki corrected me.
And I must say, things are really accelerating to a certain point, wherein I am sure a gargantuan event will happen. Something big to really challenge the "kiddie show" idea.
Hey, guys. I just stumbled onto this series and watched the entire goddamn thing and I'm hooked. I watched a lot of the Shaggy/Scooby/Scrappy movies and A Pup Named as a kid, never much of Where Are You?.
Never in a million years did I think there'd be an incarnation of Scooby Doo where Fred, of all people, is my favorite character, or one where Frank Welker's Fred voice wouldn't annoy the shit out of me. (Maybe because it always feels like it's coming out of an ancient radio.)
If there's one thing that seriously irritates me, though, it's that both of the girls have plotlines revolving around the guys. Daphne specifically suffers a lot for this, she doesn't seem to have a lot going for her besides her Fred obsession. The opening montage even seems to concede the point.
Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies.Yeah, what happened to the karate using badass we all knew and enjoyed?
This series is going for a Daphne more like the original, flaws and all. She's a lot more developed than that version, but you could say the same about a piece of toast. Not defending the choice, just saying what most likely happened in the writing room.
Despite my screen-name, ranting to you about One Piece is not my top priority.Hey, don't be hatin' on the piece of toast!

Despite my screen-name, ranting to you about One Piece is not my top priority. An over exaggeration. I'd prefer the old version that wasn't so romance obsessed. I'm sorry but she seems only to be there for bad romance more often then just being a member of the gang.
Again Goddammit.
The Reaper Games starts anew.
