So, what are the chances of Giselle's zombification reverting once she dies? I feel Hitsugaya's gonna return to normal by the end.

As Hitsugaya and Bambietta seem to be in the same condition, it's either both or neither.

I hope there isn't a loophole that Kubo uses to only reverse Zombiegami and leave the Quincies out.

It's not about Reapers vs. Quincies, it's about the state of the "corpse." Both Hitsugaya and Bambietta already seem to be rotting, whereas the zombified Red Shirts are technically still alive.

That part always confused me. Giselle ordered them to commit suicide, so shouldn't they have the tan?

Bambietta is dead. She was killed by Giselle. There's a chance she could come back, but it's not that likely. We don't know if Hitsugaya was killed and then resurrected or simply had some blood dripped on him, so his odds are better. Plus he's popular, which gives him about a 95% chance to survive.

Are these the same guys she told to kill themselves?

He has the same tan as Zombietta, which implies that he's also dead.

And if he is dead, I guaran-fucking-tee you that he's gonna return to normal.

Man I hope she didn't get Yachiru or Matsumoto.

We don't know Rose and Kensei's ultimate fate, either.

At this point, it's very likely that Giselle took anybody between Isane, Yachiru, Kensei, Kira, Rose, Sui-Feng, even Kenpachi.

And if they are all dead, along with Hitsugaya, I have a very strong feeling they'll return to normal after Giselle dies. It could be that the zombies revert to corpses, but I have a very hard time believing Kubo would keep Hitsugaya alone like this at all.

And if they aren't dead, it's even likelier they'll return to normal while the redshirts and Quincies get the shaft.

Why would he return to normal if he's dead? This is the final arc, after all; it's not like Kubo's gonna need these characters for the future...

It's hard for me to think he'll ever perma-kill off any of the popular Shinigami. It didn't happen with Byakuya, although at least he had Character Development.

Perhaps, but if it is true that Hitsugaya is dead, then I'd make a credible argument saying Byakuya wasn't Saved by the Fans and that Kubo had Character Development in waiting for him.

Kubo said Hitsugaya would master his Zanpakuto by the final arc, but we never got a real chance at seeing it... until now. That, at least, is the only tidbit he revealed for Hitsugaya, and with Hinamori herself undergoing development (getting over Aizen), perhaps he's done with Hitsugaya after this.

I would prefer if Hitsugaya is DEAD dead, but I wouldn't be surprised if he gets reversed, especially since Mayuri is there.

As for the others she could've gotten, I doubt she did anything to Yachiru and Isane, let alone the corpses of Rose and Kensei, but Rangiku is fair game because Cang Du seemed to have killed her by slitting her neck, even if she wasn't dead by that, the time lapse would've ensured that she bled out or he may have hit the jugular vein.

As for Kenpachi, she didn't get the chance. Ichigo pratically saved him. Unless she snuck away to find and get the chance to, Kenpachi is safe

The timelines don't add up for that, actually. Jump authors write a few weeks ahead.

Actually, Cru, Kubo took it a step further. During the hiatus, Kubo said he already has the ending in mind, with all of the fights in mind, and he intends to answer all remaining question marks to the lore.

Perhaps connected to that, when someone asked why he didn't show Ginjo's backstory, Kubo said Ginjo's backstory would reveal "a lot" about the history of the Soul Society. Hmm...

I doubt Giselle did anything to Yachiru or Isane, Yachiru disappeared right before they appeared to fight Kenpachi. If the two were connected it probably would have come up by now.

Some people at Bleach Asylum, discussing this chapter, mentioned that Kubo said we hadn't yet seen all the opponents this arc, or that the bad guys' army would increase. Anyone have a source for that?

It was from The Dagger. Someone translated them when they came out, but good luck actually finding them quickly.
