I would like this manga more if there were a bit more slice of life and quite a bit less battles.

Blame the Shinigami

Do you think are they actually going to change the soul society when this over or are they just going to keep regular souls in poverty? You think with Ichigo's hero complex that he would be a bit irked by that.

I hated Bleach's early slice of life phase, but then again, I tend to hate slice of life in general, plus I usually don't like the beginnings of thing's I read.

I found the beginning of Bleach boring, Naruto forgettable, and One Piece's start was insufferable to me, the arcs were so boring and yet they seemed like they would never end.

Kubo would do well at slice of life, especially since it doesn't matter how slow the pacing is.

Oh God I hate Slice of Life. Thank all that is good that that aspect of Bleach had been taken out back and put out of my misery with a Zabimaru to the neck.

Depends on the writer. If they've got a good sense of humor they can pull it off.

Slice of Life is rather boring to me. The only way I could get into it if the both setting and characters interest me which they usually don't. That is not even getting into how some of the characters act in situations.

Slice of Life solely depends on the characters. If the characters aren't good, then it's either boring or insufferable.

The Persona series does it right, because it's not strictly Slice of Life and its characters actually are pretty compelling.

Bleach would never be able to sustain that with a Monster of the Week format. The dynamics between Shinigami, Quincy, and Hollow are far more interesting.

Slice of Life would be a good name for a bankai technique.

I was just forgetting about that. That battle was a combination of wanking, stupidity, boredom, and anticlimax.

PS If he could send Kenpachi to space, why didn't he send him to the sun or a volcano or a lake of acid?

To be honest, I don't understand how....

Look, shinigami are spirits,right? So how the lack of air should affect them? In fact, how exactly there is air in SS to humans like Orihime and Chad breath?

I know, I should stop asking quesions of physics about Bleach.

Shinigami are basically just super tough humans with magic powers, so a lack of air could still affect them.

Didn't them going to SS/HM necessiated some magic mumbojumbo about them being transformed into spiritual forms?

If I remember correctly, that was because Soul Society is made up of Reishi, and the world of the living is something different.

Plus Gremmy for 64.

Which means, of the ten volume pages for the final arc, six of the characters (Opie, As Nodt, Masaki, Yamamoto, Unohana, and Gremmy) are dead, while one was severely crippled (Byakuya) and one suffered a Pyrrhic Victory (Komamura).

It's not good luck to be on a volume page for the final arc, really. I suspect Giselle will get her own volume page soon enough.

Well, she appeared in a lot of chapters in a row, so yeah, she's gonna be on the cover.
