Okay there is a new snap shot. illagers are a bit stronger. And the translocation bug is fixed.
I'll repeat what I said in my previous post. If they're going to make end-game enemies, they should put end-game loot as well. Let's see what future snapshots brings us.

H.B. WardThere's a resurrection charm in the house. There's no way I would use a shield if I could farm that instead.
Two guys walk into a bar, the third guy ducked.Yeah, Totems of Undying are excellent for defense when you're still fighting your first hostile Illager who has a freaking axe.
H.B. WardYou do realize the game has bows right?
Two guys walk into a bar, the third guy ducked.Yes, you can also place blocks strategically to make sure nothing hits you while still being able to hit them. Zisteau gets great mileage pwning difficult CTMs in such ways.
H.B. WardUsing the totems in the mansion seems pointless. It seems good for conquering an ocean monument, or a wither fight, where dying carries a huge chance of losing your stuff.
Speaking of ocean monuments, I my last one went very well. I went down with a water breathing potion a bunch of doors, tnt and slime blocks. I place 4 doors in a square above where the elders are used slime to create an air pocket and lit tnt. Not having mining fatigue makes things so much easier.
Then I used slime blocks to help empty out the temple until I found a sponge room. After that I just used a lot of stone bricks to divide up the rooms so the sponges would work.
Now to get a LOT of sand.
Oh and a new snapshot came out. The other translocation bugs are "fixed". I see why the pistons were a problem, but why fix the fence gates? Mobs falling through shifting floors is re-fixed. And the observer block now works like in pocket edition (level 15 output, slightly longer output, and doesn't strongly power blocks or power air blocks)

Man, I am just loving the way they're buffing the Vexes. Ever since I first saw them, I've always wanted them to be these creepy goddamn demon horrors that double as a Demonic Spider, and we're getting it. Considering their new damage and spawn rate, Minecraft might be a little scarier again.
Now they can travel interdi-fucking-mensionally and pursue you from Overworld to Nether. I'm really glad this bit of NightmareFuel exists.
H.B. WardThe Vex thing in the last snapshot just means they fixed a bug where they couldn't cross Nether or End portals like every single other mob can. They aren't able to cross dimensions on their own.
Yeah, I discovered that when I looked for Xisumavoid's new Mouth-Smacking Triggerfest snapshot video, about one minute later. It'd have been much nicer if Mojang hadn't made it out like Vexes had the coolest power in the game when all they actually did was fix a really trivial bug.
H.B. Ward...Are y'all even talking about Minecraft? I haven't been keeping up with the recent builds, but this sounds like some Terraria shit
As far as I'm concerned, Minecraft updates stopped when mods stopped being updated.
Well there are now 1.10 mods.
The new version should be releasing today and I look forward to it. I never really committed to the last version and the world I spawned...or rather I take so much baggage with me that I never got around to exploring or doing anything beyond updating. Hopefully a new world will serve me well.
Hopefully I can find a desert and get working on the Black Pyramid again.
Oh, and maybe experience the point of fucking villagers for the first time since their mechanics were updated. The Wandering Castle had an old village that would never update and this time around I cut the thing out of it. No idea if that worked or not and I'll have to rebuilt to find out.
Oh yeah, have links and shit:

"But don't give up hope. Everyone is cured sooner or later. In the end we shall shoot you." - O'Brien, 1984My account has been hacked. Fortunately I still have control over it, although I don't know what to do about it. Shit, it's even more sad that it's happening just as a new version is getting released.
Change your password to forcibly lock them out.
I already tried that. It didn't work.
Sweet, new update!
Can't wait to try when I come back from school.

Goddammit, Schezo... || *insert incredibly thirsty copypasta about Dr. Ratio*Trying to decide if I should update my mansion based on Betrayal at House on the Hill with the new tiles from the expansion.

morenohijazo: Try contacting customer support.
I had my account hacked, and the hacker changed the email associated with my account, so I couldn't even reset the password. I contacted customer support, and the next day my account had been fixed. Don't know if they'll be able to help you, but it's worth a shot.

Think I found a good seed—the first fucking savanna I've ever found and it's right by a nice desert.
I'll still never find an actual mushroom biome, and not just like three blocks and a mooshroom on a tiny swamp island.
Oh, and friendly wolves upholding our ancient pact by slaughtering sheep for my benefit.

"But don't give up hope. Everyone is cured sooner or later. In the end we shall shoot you." - O'Brien, 1984I've never found a mesa on my own worlds on Survival.
Meanwhile, lots of savanna and deserts in my current main world. Took me forever to find a snow biome, I even found Mushroom Island first.

I don't think they're going to increase numbers. Right now the illagers are limited in number, and I think it's deliberate, so that people don't build an emerald farm if they are able to respawn.
As for health and damage, currently it's somewhat balanced in that the loot you obtain in mansions is appropiate considering the difficulty. They would have to improve the loot you can find as well, as currently the best you can find is a single diamond block in a secret room that seldom generates.
