Swords won't block anymore (that's what shields are for), so that's what it means when he mentions the sword not have a "use."

You know, for some reason I'm kinda bothered by all this talk about dual wielding. I know it makes sense that any human like Nathan should be able to hold two things in both hands at the same time, but somehow in spite of that it still feels silly.

Very much hoping that shields offer a bit more protection than your standard sword blocking. As it is, save for surprise creeper explosions it's pretty useless when you can just use the sword strike's knockback for defense against contact mobs.

Wait a minute. Steve is holding an ender pearl but it's not in the tool slot.
The slot for your off-hand is in the inventory menu, not the hotbar. You won't see it if the inventory isn't open.
So after a long break I played a little the other day (Xbox 360). I slept in a bed to raise the sun. So you can imagine how startled I was to be bludgeoned by a baby zombie with a shovel outside, in broad daylight. Right out in the open too; he wasn't protected by shade. Pretty sure it was just a glitch, but still.

Baby zombies, by virtue of their size, are apparently immune to sunlight. Because stop asking questions they just are, for some reason.

@Ringsea they have less surface area and less mass, so they can't store as much heat and their skin has less react-able area to burn.
That and since they're babies their bodies probably had more moisture or whatever. Or maybe sunlight is pure and burns the evil and babies are too pure to be totally evil even as zombies.
I'm tired.
EDIT: Sorry, I kind of sounded like a jerk there. No changes made, but just want you to know I'm not snarking or anything of that sort.

Jeb posted this image, which seems to indicate a massive alteration of The End. Like, they said it would be more like the console version, but that ain't the console version. It looks like 3-4 new blocks, and new mobs maybe (they don't look like normal endermen).
