The only thing that could be genuinely surprising here would be for Kore to use some of his Insane Troll Logic to decide that Kin is NOT evil, and leave her alone.
That would genuiely surprise me
That would be juicy interestimg. We do know that kore is good aligned, so there's a lot left to be revealed for him.
Well, that took a turn.

well, he wouldn't be wrong. One or the other, people!
So read through the whole thing today for first time
I think she can't die yet since wouldn't really be dramatic enough if she doesn't get chance to reunite with rest of the group?
Would Thunt actually kill off the character that represents his mother, though?
I'm moderately surprised that Kore bothers to engage in conversation with anyone at all.
If Kin's (implied) guess that Kore did not, or cannot cast Detect Evil is somehow true (not being a Paladin, etc), then he probably does bother with conversation for people he's not 100% sure are evil. Shame he apparently has horrid Charisma and Sense Motive checks?
Maybe Charisma is his Dump Stat? He clearly has sky-high Strength and Constitution, which would limit the points he could put in the rest of his scores. While Charisma gives some extra bonuses to paladins, they cast spells off Wisdom, so it's not a requirement like it is for a sorcerer.
He previously seemed to assume that everyone is evil with the slightest justification.
We've only seen him interact with people who are monsters or associates thereof, right? Since racism is a running thing in the comic, I'm not really surprised that he approaches reasonableness when he gets to talk to someone who doesn't push that button. Especially since his Establishing Character Moment involves him murdering a child specifically because they had monster cooties on them, not because children suck or whatever.

If he was dumping Charisma he couldn't have used Lay on Hands.
Yeah, he doesn't see that Kin is a monster, so it doesn't trigger his kill-on-sight. He probably would have passed by without any talking if he didn't hope to get information out of her though.
Kinda curious what he was thinking about the trap - he should know how the world works, that filling the room with his IME is falling right into the danger.
Kin is way smarter than him and it didn't occur to her how dangerous the room would become from the mist.
Uh, no. She realized what's going to happen the moment mist appeared. She just tried to rush through the room before IME catches up to all the walls.
But she also knew what it was because she'd encountered a similar trap in the Maze of Many.

Rogers.Anyhoo, was bit surprised to read how negative you guys have been on last few pages until I understood that this comic was progressed very slowly over course of years Which does explain why it didn't take long to archive binge it even though I saw it first time like 5+ years ago
Yep it was nearly dead for a couple years.
Also it has pretty mock-worthy parts aside the schedule slip.
She absolutely did not. When the mist appeared, she went "Well that's weird," and proceeded further into the room. She didn't realize the danger the mist posed until she was well into the room and it was already doing its thing.

Well yeah, but all web comics have something mock worthy about them. And when you are archive binging, its much easier to pass on the bad parts when you aren't irl waiting for weeks for one page or something
I can't believe Kin has had three-fingered hands this whole time and I've never noticed.
Or he has an item with Freedom of Movement.
