What's a good game for someone who likes Kingdom Hearts? I'm trying to branch out a bit.
please call me "XionKuriyama" or some variation, thanks! | What is the good deed that you can do right now? You're gonna have to be a bit more specific, I think. What do you like about Kingdom Hearts? The combat? The levels? The progression? Characters? Plot?
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Mostly the characters, though the plot is fun to analyze. The gameplay is also the best real-time RPG gameplay I've seen, especially the combat system.

please call me "XionKuriyama" or some variation, thanks! | What is the good deed that you can do right now?So I learned that my new laptop is capable of playing N64 ROMS. Are there any N64 games that have not been released in Virtual console? Not counting the Rareware games because that's pretty obvious.
Kirby 64, Smash 64, Pokemon Stadium?

Kirby 64 and Smash 64 was already in the Wii's virtual console.
F-Zero X?
Join us in our quest to play all RPG video games! Moving on to disc 2 of Grandia!Goldeneye?
My DA account... I draw stuff sometimes!Gex: Enter the Gecko?
Chameleon Twist?
I like stories about characters. I was a huge fan of Persona 4, Mass Effect 2 and even Katawa Shoujo—stories about character dynamics and the human condition. I dont mind a bit of Grinding, if the story is good enough to make me want to get through it.
Anything anyone can think of in the vain of Mass Effect or P4? Ill willingly actually go out and try most things with little exception.
You a motherfucker, Mr. President.I got a hankering to play something where you play as the monsters/bad guy. Preferably something strategic. Any suggestions?
For those spaniards fan of pokemon try pokemon iberia: harder and funnier than ever.
In truth I'm a mass of hatred and caffeine masquerading as a human being.Know of any good Zombie games for the PS 3 besides the Walking Dead game?
I'm looking for a good, challenging turn-based JRPG (preferably one available on PC) to hold me over until Bravely Second makes it over to the United States. Preferably one that's difficult, but not brutally unfair, and with a robust system for customizing characters.
You could try the Legend Of Heroes Trails In The Sky duology. It isn't balls-bustingly difficult, but it isn't a walk in the park either, espically if you choose one of the higher difficulty settings. (Nightmare is, well, a nightmare to get through early in Trails SC, or at least I assume it, because getting through the early part of SC is hell on Normal Mode as is. Battles also use a TBS system; you can move your characters around on the field during battle, and many attacks have AOE's. You can also see the turn order on the left side of the screen, and you can manipulate it with both Attack Delay skills, as well as with arts (magic,) as they can take an extra turn or two to pull of. It's pretty darn solid when you get down to it.
The game also has a decent customization system, kind of like a souped up version of FFVII's materia system. It's actually pretty interesting; each character has a device like a pocketwatch called an orbment which fits up to seven small spheres or 'quartz', each of which contains a certain amount of elemental 'sepith' which, depending on what order they're placed in the device, can give you certain arts if you've got enough sepith added up. Each orbment also has some sort of special effect or stat increase in there, though the stat increases also tend to decrease other stats as well. The idea is to find the ideal setup for each character, because they all have their own unique stats and even a few unique skills (crafts,) as well. For example, you can fit a big bruiser with whatever quartz you wanted, but to get the most out of him, it'd probally be best to focus on attack increases and special effects rather than trying to beef his magic up. The system still allows for some hefty customization, but at the same time ensures that each character also has their own unique identities.
As good as the gameplay is though, the real strength of the games is the story and the writing, which is probally some of the best I've seen not just in RPG's, but in videogames in general. They're also pretty darn long, which I guess would suit your purposes just fine. The only real problem might be that getting both games is altogether near $50.00, but if that doesn't bother you, then I'd strongly recommend giving them a look.

What platform is that for?
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.PC. It's what he asked for, so I didn't think I'd have to say which one. You can get it on Steam or GOG if you're interested.

Games you can play as a monster. I'm also including games where you take care of a huge monster that has the potential to be evil.
- Natural Selection
- Evolve (on second thought, don't)
- Black and White
- Reus (I think)
Strategy games where you are the bad guy
- Evil Genius
- Dungeon Keeper
- Plague, Inc.
- Deception IV: The Nightmare Princess (uh, kinda, but the gameplay is constructing a dungeon to repel heroes)
- Tropico series (optional - you can be a bad president)
- What Did I Do to Deserve This, My Lord? / No Heroes Allowed!

My DA account... I draw stuff sometimes! There's also Giants: Citizen Kabuto, with first two campaigns being more shooter-ish with base building on the side, in the third you're the giant monster and instead of building a base, you grow and a handful of spawn smaller versions. Not as a bad guy though.

If anyone's interested in Trails in the Sky FC and SC, both Steam and GOG are offering a sale for both games; FC for $9.99, and SC for $20.09. It should last through most of next week, so if you want to get the whole thing for a (relatively,) low cost, now's your chance.
Why Am I Dead At Sea is on sale for $4.99
I will shill this game to high hell because it did not get near the attention it deserves.
Maybe put in Bloodborne for the PS 4, it's one of the most acclaimed PS 4 exclusives. As opposed to, say, Knack.
