I notice that Linkara used the "There is logic in what he says" clip sincerely instead of sarcastically when Nu 52!Jaime says that the scarab is the worst thing to ever happen to him in his life.

Great episode. And I can agree with New 52 Jaime being less unique. Which is odd because I'm one of those who defends Mo S despite similar arguments made against it.

So what does he think of batman v superman

So what Star Trek movie comics are left

Oh, it isn't a movie comic. It's a one shot that involves all the Chief Medical Officers of the shows.

^ I looked it up when he announced it. I don't know if it's any good but the premise sounds awesome. I just hope it lives up to the potential.

Oh come now, it's nearly two hours long. I started it the other night and haven't even finished pt. 1 yet. Plus they get into spoilers pretty quickly.

I can give you the answer though: Linkara said right at the beginning that it wasn't good but it was better than Man of Steel.

• Both he and his brother (who is also a comics buff and has done a few VLO Gs with him before) agreed that the movie pays homage to Frank Miller's Dark Knight Returns quite often without quite understanding it, particularly regarding the character of Batman.

• The whole group was of the opinion that while Jesse Eisenberg didn't really act like Luthor from the comics or cartoons, he was at least the only part of the movie that had some levity and humor to it.

• They seem to like Wonder Woman in it.

• They seemed to think Affleck was fine as Batman, but didn't like the way the character was written.

• Linkara was not impressed with the Jimmy Olsen cameo and what Snyder said about it online after the movie came out.

[Edit] regarding the Blue Beetle, I searched for the blog post, but I couldn't find it, Maybe it wasn't a blog post. It might have been an episode of "That's All I'm Saying", the video series where Linkara reviewed the first few weeks of the New 52.

Isn't that the entire movie in a nutshell?

I do find it funny that the retrospective ended the week after DC announced Blue Beetle the new series would have both Ted and Jaime in it.

Might check it out because of this series of videos.

It can't be worse than new 52s effort

Linkara does outright say what it is in the VLOG (like I said, they sound the spoilers pretty early in), but yeah, it's definitely is. On the plus side, he's not named in the movie itself so they could pull a Jenny Olsen and do a mulligan later on if they want to.

For those curious: he shows up for like 1 scene before getting shot in the head.
