Is there really story stuff I missed in each of these videos? I haven't been watching since I haven't read The Hobbit or seen the movies.
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.I don't remember seeing any story stuff with the other two videos.
What timecodes would I need to skip to for the plot beats in this one, then?
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.Sometime near the last few minutes or so. No interest in Middle-Earth?
Addition: Ah, Hobbit #2 had the Linksano getting attacked part. Credits start at 26:17

Just haven't gotten around to reading the book, and I'd like to read it before seeing any other media with it. I'll admit, it's not high on my priorities, but hey. Thank you.

Not able to watch the new one just yet, but looking forward to it.
Did anyone see the Christmas Livestream?
I saw most of it.
Avengers #200? As the worst comic ever? At least he made some good arguments defending his position, so I understand where he's coming from.
No, it's the second worst. Worst is Holy Terror.
I agree with him. I suffered through that trash
" I did the right thing, didn't I? It all worked out in the end." "In the end? Nothing ends, Adrian. Nothing ever ends."Same here. And the real sad part about it for me is that Avengers is my #2 comic series of all time. (#1 is X-Men.) So to see such a stinker in a series I otherwise adore left one heck of a bitter taste in mouth. And as if to further rub salt in the wound, the next several stories after #200 weren't that great either. It was as if #200 was less a simple wound, and more like a vile infection, spreading throughout the next year's worth of comics until it was finally surgically removed. (And by that, I mean that the book finally threw off David Michiline, who had been the main writer of the book at the time, and was of course one of the writers responsible for the atrocity of Avengers #200.) That run of stories wasn't bad, but it wasn't really worth reading much either.
Did you catch any of the Q&A segments? I'm kinda curious what topics came up.
I think there were other books on that very list that he reviewed that were worse all around then his number 1, but I do agree it was probably the most offensive, and embarrassing to all involved.
I'm sorry, Maim Man, I can't remember. I do know that most of it is recorded. It'll be put on Blip eventually.
I, too, think that there were much worse than Avengers #200, although none of his arguments are wrong and all are fairly compelling. It's just respectful disagreement and remarking that Marville is worse.
Marville is just a dumb vanity project which can (and was) easily ignored. Avengers 200 was a major anniversary issue of a long running series which made the heroes look like callious dirtbags and managed to fuck over one of marvels most important female heroes for years this issue is much harder to skip
" I did the right thing, didn't I? It all worked out in the end." "In the end? Nothing ends, Adrian. Nothing ever ends."Yeah, it is worse when put in the larger context of the comics.
But point-for-point, Marville is more awful than it.
Honestly, Avengers 200 probably deserves the spot simply because I can't think of many other stories where no one involved in the creation actually wants to admit responsibility for the damn thing.
