This is the thread we use to talk things over with people who have received a suspension notice. A lot of the time the notice goes out just so we can explain how seriously we take certain things, not because we want the person to feel bad and go away.
If you're suspended, give What to Do If You Are Suspended a read, then post here to begin your appeal. We try to respond to appeals in order via batch posts every few days. If a moderator has responded to your appeal, you will receive a notification in your private messages, even if you're suspended from PMs.

Don'ts
- Don't be rude. Rule 1 applies here, too.
- Don't try to negotiate your suspension outside of this thread, such as by sending Private Messages to moderators or posting elsewhere. Such activity may be thumped or otherwise removed, and may warrant an additional suspension block if it keeps happening. All communications have to take place within this thread.
- Don't respond to other suspended users. This is a place for you to discuss your suspension, not others'.
- Don't post multiple times about your appeal if it hasn't been a few days since your last reply from us, since it makes it more difficult to compose responses. If you've posted, we're likely looking at it, and kindly request you to be more patient.
- Don't make another account to try and get around your suspension. This is called ban evasion and will get you bounced. (Again, read What to Do If You Are Suspended if you don't know what these words mean.)

Kahran042: I'll give you a final chance, but I strongly advise you to stay away from YMMV subjects that set you off. If you receive another suspension, it will be permanent.
Gurth: You really, really need to take a look at Example Indentation and Conversation In The Main Page to see how bullet points work and when to use them. They aren't to be used for elaboration.
I see you also like slipping the occasional first person and This Troper anecdote. I'm afraid that's not allowed. The "voice" of the wiki is meant to be in third person.

The first was a state of rage, I admit. The third was to make that troper know I wouldn't reply to him; not sure what's offensive there. The second relates to the overall public reaction about the game. Some franchises did die because of that, you know, and then there's the fact that no sequel or follow-up was shown ultimately at past E3 as a result, despite hints that they would.
I may have taken things too far. I assure you that I wasn't always like this, the thing is that my attitude and mood have deteriorated significantly since the whole content policy thing, which came so suddenly and with little advice outside certain forum threads (no wiki headline at all). But I suppose that it's no excuse for me to behave like that.
If I compromise to stop the bad mood, could you lift me?

It would appear so. Give How To Write An Example a good read and remember that if you feel the need to elaborate, you should rewrite the already existing example, not add bullet points below it.

I didn't have a "personal agenda". I was just trying to keep the main description neutral. Gundamforce kept putting it in that CN Real was canceled because of "a huge backlash from the animation community and older fans prompted a return to the network's signature "cartoon" programming." Not only was this not neutral, but inaccurate (it was low ratings plus a difficult timeslot that caused it to be scrapped, there has been no info anywhere that suggests what Gundamforce put in).
While I don't care one way or the other about the CN Block itself, anything and everything has it's fans, and as far as I knew it is not appropriate to put in commentary like that just because of one's personal biases. I tried to compromise, but it was re-edited. If I had been warned this was a edit-ban offense I would have used Ask the Tropers, but I was still getting used to how everything worked here at the time.
I don't plan on ever getting into another Edit War, I'll use Ask The Tropers to bring any dispute to the mod's attention. Can I please be reinstated?

@Hotel California: I'd like to know why you did it before I restore your privileges. We've had at least one vandal arbitrarily removing NRLEP from pages because they disagreed with wiki policy, so we're very sensitive on this topic.
@IM Boring: We shouldn't need to tell people that Edit Warring is bannable. It is and always has been. If someone reverts an edit you made, you need to discuss it, not put it back. I'll lift your suspension.
