This is the thread we use to talk things over with people who have received a suspension notice. A lot of the time the notice goes out just so we can explain how seriously we take certain things, not because we want the person to feel bad and go away.
If you're suspended, give What to Do If You Are Suspended a read, then post here to begin your appeal. We try to respond to appeals in order via batch posts every few days. If a moderator has responded to your appeal, you will receive a notification in your private messages, even if you're suspended from PMs.

Don'ts
- Don't be rude. Rule 1 applies here, too.
- Don't try to negotiate your suspension outside of this thread, such as by sending Private Messages to moderators or posting elsewhere. Such activity may be thumped or otherwise removed, and may warrant an additional suspension block if it keeps happening. All communications have to take place within this thread.
- Don't respond to other suspended users. This is a place for you to discuss your suspension, not others'.
- Don't post multiple times about your appeal if it hasn't been a few days since your last reply from us, since it makes it more difficult to compose responses. If you've posted, we're likely looking at it, and kindly request you to be more patient.
- Don't make another account to try and get around your suspension. This is called ban evasion and will get you bounced. (Again, read What to Do If You Are Suspended if you don't know what these words mean.)

So could you please let me know what I can do to prove I won't do anything against the rules again because I honestly didn't know I was doing anything wrong when I edited those pages.

Oh, I see. I've just re-read the indexing page, I think I maybe wasn't setting the page type correctly.
Okay. For future reference, what's the line for premature? At first I figured the "5 hats means 5 people think it's ready" meant that you should have 5 hats, but then I thought, "All that really says is that it means 5 people think it's ready, and if there's a requirement to meet before it should be launched then you probably can't launch before it's met." Also, I've seen the Fix thread it's mentioned in. I didn't launch to "avoid questions about name and tropability," I did it because I saw how quickly new YKTTWs were showing up and was afraid of mine getting lost.

@ Pastykake: In your case the YKTTW was launched with three examples, but no hats, stubby description, a question about how it is significantly different from Readings Are Off the Scale, only four replies, and a question about the name (Line of dialogue name).

Okay, so I'll wait until that stuff's resolved before re-launching. May I be allowed to edit it again? At the least, I'd like to update the YKTTW to reflect the changes that someone added to the article page after it was launched.
Hello. Some time ago, I was one of two people who were responsible for de-railing the original Mr Enter thread into a complaining thread. I've taken some time off, and I would like to start posting on the forums again.

Riyna: I'm sorry you got lost in the shuffle. I have a report that says you blanked Characters.Starshine Pretty Cure. We don't allow page-blanking. If you want a page deleted, you can use the Cutlist and explain why it should be gone. Also, please take a look at Zero Context Example. It will help your editing immensely.

I have been suspended from posting, possibly due to never leaving edit reasons, ever, which clearly wasn't very smart of me at all. But I would heartily like to help add tropes to some Steam games I've been playing lately. If it would be possible to edit again, I would be extremely careful not to commit any more offences.

Oh wow. Um, this is awkward, because that's the one thing I kind of have a reason for.
The Bronyism page used to be a page about the hijinx of some wacky 'Hijacker Trolls' who briefly took control of a Facebook page, but it was changed (with approval from a mod) to a page about the current Bronyism Facebook page, which is your average fan-page for My Little Pony. But all the Wicks about Bronyism were still about the Hijacker Trolls version, which no longer existed on the site.
So I was getting rid of the wicks, yes, definitely, but I was getting rid of wicks that referred to an outdated version of a page that had long since been deleted. So it wasn't just mindless trolling.
I still should've used edit reasons...

Elmo: Sorry for the mixup. My Little Pony is one of those works that seems to attract people with agendas, so it is easy to jump to conclusions about a pattern of deletions on the topic. Suspension lifted.
