If someone else won't stop edit warring, then you let the staff know, either via PM or through Ask The Tropers. Someone else breaking the rules is not an excuse for you to do the same.

I didn't think bringing staff into an argument as stupid as this was a good idea.

@Magnum 12: I looked into the history, and it does seem to be that we had a misunderstanding. Please use edit reasons next time you do the actual work, okay? Not everyone is going to know what is going on when something is seemingly deleted.

I just didn't think they were heartwarming. The entries I deleted were (In my view) funny instead of heartwarming, or just pointless to put on it. And like I said before, I didn't know tv tropes had rules, and boundaries besides deleting pages as a whole.

You are aware that "heartwarming" is subjective, yes? Just because you don't find something heartwarming doesn't mean that it objectively isn't.

I think the last thing I did was write character descriptions for K On or something similar- they were apt descriptions you must admit. Someone disagreed and banned me on the spot instead of telling me why they thought why my description was wrong. I did not use bad language so maybe I didn't dot a t. Ive watched a lot of K On though so I'm not a newb to the manga. Weird.

I really wasn't informed of any reason why my editing was shut off. All it said was "Sorry, Editing has been turned off for you." This is the first time it's happened for me

I didn't remove any tropes on a YMMV page, and I don't know what edit waring is. But if I get my editing ability back I'll make sure not to do it again

Hello, I think I've been suspended, owing to the fact that I keep getting a message saying "Sorry, editing has been turned off for you."

Other than that, I've received no particular warning, or ultimately a reason for exactly Why I seem to have been suspended. Why was I suspended? I would like to appeal this.

Particularly because I was given no reason or warnings or something. I haven't been involved in any ugly flame wars.

I have received a PM about adding too much to "The Sociopath", which admittedly was way to much info and should have been in notes, but none of this was a warning about suspension.

In general I do tend to make long entries, but my general idea was that if people didn't like it or think it was up to standards, it would just be removed (its not like I fought to keep anything in).

Please, I haven't been fighting anyone and would *gladly* follow the admins reprimands, its just that I was never specifically reprimanded or warned about anything in particular. If I had been, I'd follow whatever instructions I'm given. I'm not looking for trouble, just a guy who likes his TV shows.

@anoni: I'm going to guess it was adding back They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot to YMMV.Digimon Xros Wars The Young Hunters Leaping Through Time, although I'll be honest, it looks like there was a lot of edit warring over that, and Eddie didn't say precisely which thing he suspended you for (something he needs to work on). I'll help check.

Really? I thought he removed They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot because it wasn't explained why it was a waste of a good plot. So I explained why people feeled that way. Thank you for checking up on it.

Yes, I won't do that again. Even I gaped at the page when I was done and realized it was far too long, I just figured the mods would delete it if it broke rules (which they did, and I didn't fight to restore it or something). I'll keep things shorter and descriptive.
