I think I might rewatch KnK in the near future in preparation for the eventual release of the NA GO collab. I still haven't actually seen anything past the 7th movie.

So this year's Nero Festival actually has a plot.

Brynhildr's Saint Graph was messed around with by Moriarty for shits and giggles, whose rampaging might've caused another singularity if Waver and da Vinci hadn't anticipated this scenario, calling on a bunch of Servants to restrain her. After Moriarty is revealed as the bad guy with Amakusa working for him because he wants a Grail, Holmes takes down Moriarty with his Baritsu.

The phrase "this year's Nero Festival" implies that there was at least one Nero Festival the year before. Am I wrong?

I keep seeing the term Saint Graph in GO. Is that connected to class vessels or something?

Saint Graphs are essentially the term for a Servant's body/container of Heroic Spirit lore stuff. Apparently some Servants just have better ones than others because King Hassan's Saint Graph is ridiculously powerful and that helps him impose the concept of death on Tiamat.
