Isn't that Caster master as he was shown in UBW anime?
Ah, looks like. Thanks, I hadn't gotten to watching that yet.
Atram Galiast, Medea's first Master and professional murder victim.
Song of the SirensThe guy who, for the past ten or so years, we only knew was a douchebag and nothing else.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! Now we know he's a high-tech douchebag!
Yes, Bazett might do well in an actual Grail War. Without infinite continues, though, she'd almost certainly be killed by the first Servant she went up against. However, she's close enough to their ability level to actually matter in a fight and she counters mages pretty well, so she could wreck the other Masters.
Medea's first Master was originally just described as a coward who looked down on and envied Medea at the same time. The anime changed that, which I felt was one of the few good additions in the anime.
Masters aren't supposed to fight Servants, though. And she'd likely get only one free use of Fragarach before the other combatants would start figuring out countermeasures.
Song of the SirensWhy do you think it was a good change?
Apropos of nothing, some pictures
Song of the SirensI don't even.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!My personal favourite wtf picture is Kirei and Kiritsugu wearing Senketsu and Junketsu.
Song of the Sirensasterism: She's good enough in melee to not die instantly, which means she's a combatant who needs to be watched. Fragarach is a nice bonus, though.
Saiga: What we had before sounded pretty dull. It also made Medea into an actual sympathetic not totally evil character instead of the story just telling us she was one. Plus, it really contrasted all the stupid Ilya crap. I hated those scenes.

Song of the SirensUhg. To translate or not to translate....
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Well, the thing with Bazett's performances is it's a mistake to judge Prisma Ilya mechanics based on the actual Grail War mechanics. Regardless of what one may think about the loli content, tone matters, et al, which are their own sets of issues, the Prisma Ilya 'mechanics' are mostly those of a token Magical Girl series using the esthetics of actual Fate Stay Night mechanics.
What are the requirements for qualifying for Ruler, and can I get sources on it? I'm trying to win an argument, and you all are more knowledgeable than I.
Impartiality, and no desire to win the Grail for yourself. That Amakusa, who does want the Grail, was summoned can probably be blamed on his improper summoning and/or the Einzbern penchant for fuckuppery.
You don't have to be a saint, but it helps. GO demonstrates that saints can be other classes, and I think it said somewhere that in a normal war Jeanne would be a Saber.

Song of the SirensIsn't there a "must be a Christian Saint" clause?
Not explicitly, I think. Though saints tend to be impartial.
Song of the SirensNo, Nasu just thinks saints and impartiality are linked. Oh, and by saint he doesn't literally mean someone canonized by the church but rather just an influential religious figure or something like that.
Amakusa decided he wanted the Grail later is all.

@Arha I didn't even find her slightly sympathetic for that. Until they give a good reason as to why she cares about Kuzuki I don't see anything sympathetic in her character.
I'm not saying I disliked those scenes but they didn't feel like anything new to me.

New Medea scenes showed her Master being more of a dick then betraying her first while the original scenes were just her killing him because she was basically bored and he was kind of annoying. She didn't even want the Grail, she just didn't like the guy. That's just plain murder. The scenes were a bit heavy handed but compared to the Ilya crap and FZ tie ins it was pretty good.
Hi guys, I'm also in this thread :V
Why didn't you like the extra scenes Arha?
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.
List of Grand Order craft essences. Which I gather are Servant-buffing cards.
Does anyone recognize the Dark Skinned Blond on Primeval Magic?
