Even though the original pic came from an official source? What, are there no text blurbs next to the pic that briefly describe/hint at her identity?

We know who she is. She is Konohana Sakuya, isn't she?

I think Marq meant more like...is she more than just a joke design with the punchline being "Takeuchi really likes to draw Saber"

The pic has the words Konohana-Sakuya on it. It says "The glorious cherry blossom, Konohana-Sakuya. A new heroic spirit in Koha-Ace."

You did. I was referring to your previous post when I said we knew who she was.

I guess the folks over at Beast's Lair haven't actually translated it yet.

Oh sheesh, I thought I was going delusional for a second.

On the other hand, it may not actually be Konohana-Sakuya, but a homonym pun. The words can be read as "Konohana-Sakuya" or "will this flower bloom or scatter?" Or maybe it's just wordplay.

That does seem like wordplay to me.

Then again, does Japanese usually make wordplay that involves a name...and have the name be unrelated? Seems kinda silly to me.

More of Apocrypha has been translated.

Some of the homunculus stuff mentioned is interesting. Apparently if made perfectly they won't die of old age.

Yeah, that come up in Ataraxia. On the other hand, they don't have souls either. Well, barring Ilya thanks to her natural conception.

Wow. Poor Homunculus. His body is too frail to make use of his top grade magical circuits and so much as walking causes him tremendous pain. If Rider hadn't decided to save him, yeah, he had no chance. Poor guy.

Rider and Archer both come off as pretty cool dudes. I actually liked how they put their priorities as heroes over their priorities as Servants of Team Black. It's going to bite them in the ass, I'm sure, but points for trying.

Rider will protect the Homunculus!

I really want to see Jeanne be done well.

He mentioned it in an interview in Tech Gian a few years ago. He said the reason some projects were taking so long is because he was busy playing Demon Souls.

As for the Apocrypha update, Rider really is a nice sort, helping Homunculus like that.

The update: How dull, I'm not want really interested in homonuculus and Rider. This whole subplot seems pointless and tacked on.

By Beast Lair. It is supposed to be not the best translation, but covers whole game, and is not glaringly bad. In other words, quite decent.

How's the game itself, though? Decent?

Cannot say because I haven't really explored all the stories. I just started XD

Seeing that Rider's don't really have the best of luck.

Stay/Night : Prevent Sakura from becoming a monster, in the one route she lasts long enough to do something,... well Rider does get two awesome fights with Assassin and Saber so that counts for something.

Zero: Get Saber to recognize the error of her ideals and join him! Wave motion blast to the Ox. and then there is Gil.

Extra: Gets the one master who doesn't realize what he has gotten into.

So Riders are as unlucky as Lancers then?

But watch as they don't get mocked nearly as much.

Probably because Riders also happen to be awesome. FSN Rider? Awesome. Zero Rider? Awesome. EXTRA Rider: Her NP is summoning a whole fleet of ships. Awesome. George? Saint Awesome.

Astolfo is a cool dude, but...yeah. No clue on Achilles.
