I also get the vast majority of my fandom interaction from TV Tropes. I just find it to be a more comfortable and civil place than most, especially when it comes to furries.

I don't usually have too much of a problem with them.

"Pants feels" is just a bit more than saying "attractive" IMO.

Anyhow, despite there always being some arguing everywhere (this is the internet, after all), TV Tropes just comes off as more civil, less hostile and less obnoxiously pushy people populated.

Especially with the fandom sides. This forum has maybe the least chaotic/dramatic Sonic community I can think of.

Then again, I sort of don't bother with most singular focus fan sites, as those have "reputations."

^ The post in question didn't mention anything about pants, just "Feels".

Granted, physical attraction is one possible interpretation of "Feels" (and one that's not exactly discouraged by the all-too-common stereotype of furries in general as hornballs), but it's not the only one.

It was edited after the fact.

I see it as just a humorous, crasser way of saying "hot". I hear worse at school.

I did indeed edit it out to avoid further bruising kurgy's sensibilities.

I don't blame him. Rocket Racoon is the only reason I'm interested in seeing Guardians of the Galaxy, for more than one reason.

If I'm not mistaken, he was basically the best character in the original comics, so that is unsurprising.

As an aside, where is your avatar from, Imperial Sunlight? I rather like it.

It looks Red Wall-y but I could be wrong.

It is from Redwall. Though I admit to not actually having read the books and merely using it because I found it on google and thought that it looked good. I really want to read them, however, I can unfortunately say that about many books that I have not touched for years...

While we're talking about characters we find attractive, people in the fandom still freak out about the Pokémon: Genesect and the Legend Awakened version of Mewtwo, but I always found Mewtwo attractive and was thrilled that not only was there canonically more than one, there was a canon female.

I also had a massive crush on the Animal Crossing NPC villager Blaire that I wouldn't stop annoying people with when I was twelve or so.

I'm kind of ashamed to be one of those kinds of furs, but I just am. :p

I had a crush on a pink, anthropomorphic, muscular elephant guy who just wears a loincloth from the Duel Masters card game WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY back then when I was in secondary modern school :P

Suffice to say, when his card got played in the anime, I was very disappointed that he didn't get a model, his card just appeared for a moment, then it was gone

It has taken some time for me to come to terms with the fact that I am "that kind" myself, but I do take solace in the fact that I am not generally creepy or overly forward about it.

...although I confess that I find some very odd characters attractive.

FUN FACT: The alien race in my novels started out as just a dare from a friend who didn't find bird or fish anthros attractive, period. NSFW drawings came first, making an aquatic avian humanoid to try to prove him wrong.

Then I started liking the design too much to let it go to waste and I started tweaking it, coming up with an environment, backstory, et cetera.

One of my characters began life as a rather warped riff on the "perfect" cousin's character in The Fantastic Mr Fox.

I'll admit to also finding certain anthros attractive, but I'm very picky about it. They have to be mammals and they can't look too human or too animal-like. For example, breasts on female anthros is an instant turnoff for me. Yes, I know that sounds really weird for some of you.

Hey I never post in here but

I've heard way creepier things about female anime characters on forums (here included) and news site posts. I think that was a pretty tactful way to state it.

Hello, Hashil! Welcome to one of the only places that I still post in here!

@Berserker: Same, actually. Too human throws things into the uncanny valley; too like a normal animal and, well... yeah, that can get weird fast.
