...yeah that little dude looks alright.
-Looks over at Kite- What about you?
mario is red, i am green, i try my best, but everyone's mean"Yeah..."
And then there was silence-Soul Edge tumbles end over end across the floor, and shatters into several pieces-
-Mewtwo's and Crona's corpses both vanish, the latter leaving a large puddle of Black Blood behind-
Each avatar that was in the final round gets their pick of either: a Black Blood weapon, or an Edge Shard weapon. One or the other. Now, details:
One may either modify a weapon they already have, or make a new one, but ranged weapons can only be modified, not made.
Black Blood weapons are jet black (but are not Evil-aligned, in case that makes a difference) and can grow black spikes (one foot long or shorter) out of either the business end (including from and/or perpendicular to the weapon's blade) or the handle at its owner's will. A ranged Black Blood weapon can both grow spikes and shoot spikes (but it can only shoot them from the business end, of course), and does not run out of spikes. Ownership of a Black Blood weapon transfers to whoever wields the weapon first after its last owner is killed.
To get such a weapon, either dip a weapon into the puddle or take one out of it (Just pretend it isn't all gross and stuff).
Edge Shard weapons are made of some unidentifiable material that could be flesh, metal, or both (and are both unholy and Evil-aligned, in case that makes a difference), and can gain a thick aura of hellfire at its owner's will; the owner can also have these flames "jump" off of the weapon in a Sword Beam once per page. An Edge Shard weapon's owner cannot be hurt by that weapon's aura. A ranged Edge Shard weapon can gain the same aura, and also shoots hellfire-coated projectiles (However, unlike a Black Blood weapon, it cannot replace its ammunition if it runs out). Ownership of an Edge Shard weapon transfers to whoever killed its last owner.
To get such a weapon, either hold a shard of Soul Edge to a weapon or will it into the desired shape (Just pretend it makes sense).
Dirk, Kite, the Ghost, Ivysaur, Mikael, and Shadow Man all participated in this round, and each is entitled to one of the above weapons. When each one has decided and the loot is settled, this thread will officially end.
V4 will be started next Saturday, most likely around noonish (Maybe earlier if I get impatient).
EDIT: On the off-chance Mikael still has his Raven Feather weapon, he can modify it again.

And then there was silenceIvysaur dips one of her vines in the black blood.
When she withdraws it, the black blood forms into a 10 inch blade held on by a handle containing a slot for the vine.
She takes the resulting weapon off her vine and places it in her bud.
If it's allowed and possible she does this with her other vine as well.

Ivysaur just got about 40 times more badass
And then there was silenceWhat about just a pair of knives with weird, vine-compatible handles?
i care but i'm restless, i'm here but i'm really gone, i'm wrong and i'm sorry, babyOh, we get prizes for kicking their ass? Hot damn, we may as well have leveled up while we're at it. I can almost feel that +3 HP increase.
-Looks at Kite's and Ivysaur's weapons and decides on the Black Blood-
-Crouches down into the puddle and considers dipping his katana in-
-Deciding that you can't possibly improve on perfection he reaches into the blood and pulls out...-
-Another KatanaBlack Blood Edition ! Really, the only noticeable difference between the two is that the blade is black and not indestructible-
-Starts testing out his new weapon-

mario is red, i am green, i try my best, but everyone's meanI was under the impression that that was what I made.
...Oh. Yeah, okay then.
i care but i'm restless, i'm here but i'm really gone, i'm wrong and i'm sorry, babyThe Ghost decloaks next to the Black puddle, and dips his sword in the goop; feeling the power emanating from it and once he felt that the blade has had a long enough dip in the stuff; he pulls it out before cloaking again, Leaving without saying a word or anything to the others.
Shameless Self-promotion ho!Aw, Hee-Ho. I missed it by a long shot.
-If I'm still allowed to, Mikael dips his Raven Feather gun into the black blood, if I'm not allowed to any more, then he doesn't-
Just to be clear, with the new modification can he still use it's teleporting abilities, or does his gun lose that.

Mikael now has a gun that A: lets him teleport once per page as long as he's holding it, B: shoots black spikes and doesn't run out of them (It's still a handgun, though; semi-auto, not full-auto), and C: can grow black spikes from any part of it he wants (making trying to take it from him a very bad idea; also, he can kinda use it as a melee weapon, y'know, like a bayonet). It is jet black with a feather design etched onto the barrel.
IIRC, the Raven Feather part has the "Ownership goes to whoever killed the last owner," while the Black Blood part says, "Ownership goes to whoever grabbed it first after its last owner was killed." Ergo, if he's killed but comes back and grabs it before anyone else can, he can still use the Black Blood ability, but only his killer can use the Raven Feather ability. If he kills his killer, it's all his again. If he dies and a third party grabs it, he has to kill the third party and his killer to get both abilities back.
So, yeah, it's all kind of overcomplicated and crap.

i care but i'm restless, i'm here but i'm really gone, i'm wrong and i'm sorry, babyEveryone's loot's accounted for but Shadow Man. Waitin' on you, Classic.
i care but i'm restless, i'm here but i'm really gone, i'm wrong and i'm sorry, babyDERP. I blame school, sorry for vanishing from the fight. Anyways, seeing as how Shadow Man already has a Black Blood dagger...
Shadow Man picks up a piece if the Soul Edge and creates a Shadow Blade, and connects the two... a bit smaller than the normal Shadow Blade, and it appears to have an eye in the center, and it's pretty grotesque looking, but it'll do.
If this is okay. I'm planning for it to lack the long range Precision-Guided Boomerang effect of Shadow Blades, instead being able to levitate in near (right in front of, behind, etc.) Shadow Man and spin. (which would also make it a nice impromptu shield. Maybe it'll also lob the hellfire instead of launch it, but I dunno.) Is this alright? My backup if this isn't alright is he upgrades the katana he got back in Willamette Mall.
🏳️⚧️she/her | Vio Rhyse AlberiaThink I'd prefer the katana, being simpler, but yeah, this is fine too. Mind you, it'll still change ownership if he's killed.
Well, that's the last loose end. Stay tuned; v4 should be up at around noon on Sunday, assuming I'm done messing around with final details (like the first map, for example; gonna be another MS Paint job. Think I'm nearly done with it).
