Okay, Bush Jr had the shoe, Obama had the book. Who's taking bets on the next president having a hat thrown at them?

It's really hard to throw a hat and actually hit somebody at the necessary distance. We're not all Oddjob.

Hat was the most likely thing I could think of. And you clearly don't wear a cowboy hat often enough if you think they're very hard to throw. I suppose it could be a wallet or some such instead.

A naked man was arrested in a separate incident at the same rally. He was apparently trying to win a reward from British billionaire Alki David, who offered $1 million to the first person to streak at an Obama rally while advertising his video-sharing website.

The only way throwing a hat would be awesome would be if it was thrown in such a way that it landed neatly on the target's head.

I love how he didn't even notice as the book flew past him.

Apparently the man wasn't trying to be nasty or anything to Obama - he just wanted the president to read the book (which he wrote) and got kind of over-exuberant in his attempts to give the president the book. Or so he claims, at any rate.

Hmmmm, "I wasn't trying to kill the president, I was just trying to show him my flamethrower and got overzealous!" Think it would work?
