If I recall correctly, in SS Link doesn't get the Master Sword after three dungeons, but after six.
135 - 169 - 273 - 191 - 188 - 230 - 300yep.
we established right before this arguement even, that the formula has already changed multiple times, including skyward sword.
its just not enough, apparantly.
The formula isn't that you get the Master Sword after a set of dungeons;
It's that it's about Link, who goes through 4-8 dungeons then saves the world.
Please help out our The History Of Video Games page.so you've now reduced the basic structure to 2 elements instead of 3: entering a number of dungeons that varies by 4, and saving the world.
well when you look at a series like that, its little wonder everything feels the same to you.
I get the feeling that was supposed to be a joke.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!One-fourth genuine troll, one-fourth devil's advocate, one-fourth joke, one-fourth trying to find arguments against what this troll at a catholic retreat said, to be exact.
Please help out our The History Of Video Games page.i should also probably point out that taking issue with the specific number of dungeons isnt helping your case when you still try to generalize it to "this number that is not always used and goes up and down between a range of 4"
either the number of dungeons is such a minor thing you can ignore the specific number, or its major thing you have to take issue with and be specific. you cant have it both ways.
If anyone seriously uses that argument then your best option is to simply ignore them.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!I get the feeling that person either hasn't played many Zelda games or doesn't really care for the series anyway and just wants to have a reason to hate it.
Late joke, but I love how the first trailer for Hyrule Warriors was subtitled "(name not final)", and then it totally was.
If ever they make a sequel, I'm gonna refer to the first game as (name not final) from then on.
Eh, they couldn't come up with anything better I guess.
Persona 3 Portable LiveblogWas pretty good on its own, at least.
You know Waxing's argument is sillier when you consider that nearly EVERY RPG has dungeons too. Dungeons were pretty much invented by the Lo Z franchise then put into almost everything else. Skyrim, Final Fantasy, Avalon Code. They all use dungeons as part of thier gameplay structure.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.Pretty sure the thing that invented dungeons was more likely Dungeons And Dragons.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."actually i think dungeons were invented by real people in real life waaaaaaaaaaaay back in like, the dung ages or something.
Well, yes. But I meant dungeons as a gameplay mechanic- a place to explore and find monsters and loot.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."I meant in the video game media. D&D dungeons are different because there's far less of a sense of the dungeon as it's own distinct place because there's little change in how you interact with the world around you. In games the overworked is generally for exploration/grinding (depending on genre) while dungeons are for combat and puzzles
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.Even if we're just talking about video games, there's old western computer RPG's with dungeons that came out years before Zelda.
Several pages.
I had trouble with the motion controls. Was hard enough to kill things like Deku Baba's, Ghirahim was a nightmare until I discovered a little exploit.
Turns out if you use the shield bash, he always holds his hand towards you sword arm, letting you move your Wii mote in reality over to slash him from the other side.
less pages.
Whelp, now we know. If Darunia had the megaton hammer in Oo T, we'd have had one less dungeon in the game, because he'd have flattened the boss before we'd even gotten there.

If everyone were normal, the world would be a dull place. Like reality television.I did kind of scoff at the "(name not final)" when I first saw it though. Unless they went the route they did with three of their Warriors spin-offs, I don't think anything else would work as well.
It wouldn't be the first time. They had said the Nintendo DS was going to have a different name.
135 - 169 - 273 - 191 - 188 - 230 - 300Same with the 3DS.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am.""Name not final" does not mean "name certain to change". It means they were still considering what to name it. And they decided to stick with that one.
customer: well yes, but i was actually referring more to his pre-heroes outfit stuff in main console games, starting from wind waker and continuing all the way to skyward sword and even the new wii u zelda where we see link in some sweet duds.
the scarf is just an additional thing to go with it.
