They need a scale from Valoo to get their wings. If he doesn't want to move from Dragon Roost Island, then the Rito can only go so far.
Well hopefully the next game in the new Hyrule has had Valoo and the Rito migrate to the mainland.
Also we need more games where Zelda is as present as she was in Spirit Tracks.
We saw Valoo set the wooden boat atop Forsaken Fortress on fire after a couple of the Rito rescued Link and Tetra. And we saw him sitting on the giant wall/arches/whatever it is at the Tower of the Gods. So Valoo has seen quite a bit of activity off of Dragon Roost.
But there's a difference between flying around a single area of the Great Sea (an area small enough that one kid on a boat can map it all) and actually moving to a new continent months away. I imagine that New Hyrule could have a number of Rito visitors, maybe a permanent embassy for them, but they just can't raise children there, because Valoo likes living at Dragon Roost.
More importantly, they'd have to rename Dragon Roost.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Started playing Hyrule Warriors (finally). I love the gameplay, but the story... Got a whole list of problems:
- The plot itself. "Female villain falls for the hero" can be done well, but this... wasn't. Even ignoring the unnecessary sideplot of "She's stealing him from his destined love," it felt too much like "Female falls prey to her female feelings, and is manipulated by evil because females are weak and have feelings."
- The Sheik "twist." It would have been blatantly obvious even if it wasn't the exact same twist in the most famous Zelda game. I'm more annoyed than I should be that Impa didn't see through it. I had this headcanon that in Ocarina Impa was the one who taught Zelda how to play as Sheik, but whatever. And why did she even do it? The bad guys knew they didn't have her, and her forces could have used the morale boost.
- The Ganondorf twist was similar. It's the exact same thing that happens in every Zelda game, but they acted like it was unexpected. We even have a trope for it. Props to Cia for fighting him off, though. I don't really have a problem with the trope in general, it's just the way it was presented.
- The Lana reveal. The concept itself was fine, the reveal was just not well done. Maybe this can be blamed on the dialog, which I was not enamored with in general.
- And of course, the cutscenes. They seem to think you're in a normal Zelda game, where a dozen foes are an actual threat. That also ties into the "Link is getting cocky" subplot. They're talking about how he's rushing the enemy with no regards to his safety, and it's like "...this isn't even a challenge. Why are they acting like it's suicide?"
Just started Ganondorf's campaign, so we'll see how that goes. Don't have high hopes for the story, but at least it's fun to play.
The story is ehhhhh, but I overall like the newbies and Ganon definitely has one of his better showings here.
I sure said that! That said, even though I haven't played all the way through HWnote , based on what I've read/seen, I agree with the Sheik/Cia/Lana twists, if only in that they could have been handled a bit better.

the thing that actually bothers me the most is simply the fact that zelda kept pretending to be sheik even after her piece of the triforce was stolen
why? i dunno
its never explained why she did it from the start, let alone why she kept doing it afterwards.
would have preffered it if this sheik was actually a zelda from a different timeline cuz then it'd make a little more sense why they maintained the charade even after her triforce piece was stolen.
Is there any reason to not pretend to be a ninja? Maybe Zelda is actually a really hardcore cosplayer, and she's going to milk this opportunity for all its worth.
PSN ID: FateSeraph | Switch friendcode: SW-0145-8835-0610 Congratulations! She/TheyI wish you could just use Harps as Zelda. There's no reason why you shouldn't, except perhaps to force you to level up Sheik separately, which makes no sense at all. Similarly, Mirror should've just been a weapon type for Midna.
As for the Cia falling for Link thing, I feel obligated to point out that it's a bit more complex than that. Recall that the game explained that it was the evil soul's curse that turned curiosity (and possibly resentment for being the "neutral watcher can't interfere with the world" stereotype) into an obsession and hatred. It's less "female villain falls prey to her emotions" and more "villain character rips another character's soul in two and brainwashes one of the two souls."
I have a message from another time...Anyone else hate fighting Lizalfoes/Dinalfoes in Hyrule Warriors? Especially on high damage maps like the Termina Adventure map? They move quickly and with little warning, and it can be hard to see their fireballs coming. Especally when using a character with a ton of excess animation time, like Ghirahim.
In other topics, I just had a battle where both the bosses (Zelda and Impa) were using Harps. Just let me weapon swap, Hyrule Warriors. That looks like fun!
I have a message from another time...Seriously. I hate fighting those things more than any of the giant bosses.
What's a pain is when they have an absurd amount of health, or you have to fight them with Fire or Light weapons. Or both, like most of Agitha's maps.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! So I'm playing through Hyrule Warriors and steadily getting through the existing content (haven't completely depleted it yet though) and I'm enjoying it (although there are some flaws in the story, the gameplay is pretty good). Is the DLC worth it?
If you plan on getting the port, probably not.
"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyThe DLC costs less than the port though so it's not worth it unless you really want Tetra and KORL. I have a feeling they'll be added to the Wii U game though.
Do you think they'll add the ability to switch between the playable characters on the fly like in the 3DS version?
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Probably not but I think the main game is fine without that.
Tetra and KORL are definitely coming to the Wii U game, it's just a question of when.
Anyway, I'd say the DLC is worth it. Buy the season pass thingy, it's cheaper than buying them all individually AND you get a free Dark Link skin.
Only issue is that the Adventure Mode maps that come with the Twilight Princess and Majora's Mask packs are really hard.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!I think those maps are meant to be challenged after you've cleared the Adventure Map that comes with the game. By that point your characters will probably be in the 60-80 range. They also upped the level cap. They're meant to challenge you.
Wait, there's a 3DS Hyrule Warriors?
Does it require a New 3DS?
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."I can't A-rank some of the missions even with characters in the 150+ range, long after completely clearing both the regular and Master Quest adventure maps.
At least the Twilight Princess map has a great place to grind levels.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! For reasons unknown, the offensive stats of enemies in the Twilight Map are skyrocketed past what they "should" be, and similar holds for the durability of Termina Map's enemies. It's not an unusual gimmick, but it is an unexplained one.
I sure said that!
Ditto. I love the Rito.
