I wonder if that's a skin like the Chain Chomp is or a different weapon altogether.
^All characters have multiple different types they can use, but they don't use just single weapon of that type. Thats why Link wields "sword" instead of master sword or something, cause there are multiple different swords that look different that you can equip

That's awesome, and it'd be even more amazing if they used the NES sound effects when wielding that weapon.
So, is that meant to be the Magic Sword seen in some shots?
There's usually four weapons of each type in the (Dynasty/Samurai) Warriors (Orochi) games, and since we know the other three are the Hylian Sword, White Sword and Master Sword...
I sure said that!More like an 8bit version of the Wooden Sword, the Magic Sword is already in the game as the strongest weapon in Link's Hylian Sword weapon set (Which only have three tiers in Hyrule Warriors) while the Master Sword is its own set but only has itself in it.
So, when challenging Dark Links, does the size of their Bounty determine how tough they will be?
One Strip! One Strip!Pretty much.
The Master Sword is the Blade of Evil's Bane, you know. You shouldn't be able to touch it.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Wow. Even the music knows I just Took a Level in Badass.
Tomorrow, Hyrule Castle, and then I expect the plot to really kick into high gear.
When should I start renting or buying more Items?
One Strip! One Strip! My philosophy on that basically amounted to 'as soon as I have the money to afford it'.
I've got like over 2000 rupees already from collecting lots of cash, and beating Shadow Links.
I think I'll do the Castle, and then buy one of the weapons right after.
One Strip! One Strip!Buying items can't be done until an upcoming major plot point. Ravio will tell you when you can.
I have a message from another time...But renting items and then just resetting if you die is almost as good as buying them.
But he's given me the option to do so.
I beat both Temples and got all three stones, then got the Master Sword.
Also, I'm already in Lorule now.
Hilda holds off Yu-gon with ease.
But I already know she's apparently the game's real villain due to spoilers, but it's still depressing that Zelda is pwned so easily while Hilda gets to be Bad Ass.
I didn't realize Gulley was a Sage.
One Strip! One Strip! Many of the Nice items just totally blow the original forms out of the water, such that buying really is the way to go.
Nice Fire Rod and Nice Tornado Rod alone wreck so many things, and the Nice Boomerang is never not great to have around.
There are... mitigating factors.

I have a message from another time...The cost for renting items really isn't that bad. Resetting seems like an overreaction.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."Given that I just died anyway, resetting takes considerably less time than walking back to the house to pick up the items again would.
That said, I think I only actually did that once or twice. Mostly it was more of a 'welp, I just died and I have other stuff I should be doing anyway, I guess I'll take a break now' sort of thing, and then when I came back it turned out that it didn't save the bit about me losing the items.

It depends the situation for me. If I want to keep the current item set due to where I am, I reset. Since sometimes stuff is not available due to the current price and my rupee total. I don't often do so, though. The game is fun either way. I really like the weaker punishment compared to some games, and I really love the "infinite" capacity for items, a good design, imo. That was one issue with other Zelda games, running out of Arrows/Bombs. It can make a situation unwinnable. In this case, not an issue.
Same.
I really hope they keep that whole system for any future games. Or, at the very least handheld ones. It's really nice.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."I think the only bosses in that game that gave me trouble were the plant worm sand thing and the ice eyeball. Fuck that boss and its temple. Place had me frustrated.
The stalblind and all the Yuga fights were awesome.
Louder than God's revolver and twice as shiny.I like how Yuga's theme has his name being chanted.
One Strip! One Strip!
Meanwhile, in Hyrule Warriors◊...
