Because Kinkajou told me to.
So yeah, anything about Final Fantasy! I guess this would make a good starting point: Which are your favorite games in the series and why?
My two all-time favorites are tied between Final Fantasy V and Final Fantasy IX. They're both very fun games that don't take themselves too seriously while still being legitimately emotional. On top of that, Zidane is my favorite Final Fantasy lead in the entire series. He's light-hearted, fun, and a generally nice guy to be around. FFV also has the advantage of having one of, if not the best, Job System in an FF game. Both FFV and FFIX make characters customizable while keeping them all unique in their own way. I'm also very fond of Final Fantasy I; it hasn't aged well, but it's classic, and like FFV, I played it tons as a kid.
I assume we'll drift around to various other FF-related discussions as the topic grows, right?

But it would have made Ashe X Larsa canon!
plus it would continue the weird theme of Gods other then the Occuria's being the Bad guys
If RW was about the Wrath of the Sky God 'Feolthanos/Zeus
Fortress was about the Wrath of the Sea God/King/ Poseidon
From what I could gather... it almost in set up would Be basically Tactics but with a Defense management bent, instead of going out and adventuring you're nutruing a powerful defense force of this one Area... This one Fortress that has to stand.

I'm A Pervert not an Asshole!I finally got all the primary Iai Strike materials and stuff for Dissidia Duodecim! I think I see why its so broken because my level 1 Warrior of Light is carving through level 128 manikins with only moderate hassle.
I'm quite confident in my shitposting you knowBluuuu, are there any wall Breaks that aren't Stoneskin II or Sentinel's Defense?
Working on a contested sequel entry for the After
"The largely recycled plot with poorly written antagonists makes reception to the game mixed. While there are plenty who love the walk down nostalgia lane, seeing the characters grown up and to its credit does further some ideas and story arcs. The flip-side, The recycled nature is lamp shaded to the point you have the characters beat for beat calling out the deja vu. Those annoying moments where the characters loudly proclaim the New villains superiority to the old ones even though the new ones are following the old ones plan step by step. The various retcons to the Lunarians. The fact it ends on a sequel hook. The After can feel unnecessary. with the most extreme wanting to treat it like post FF7 content with others thinking it adds just enough to justify its existence."
I think its too much of block of text

I'm A Pervert not an Asshole!New Nomura interview indicating FFVIIR may not be just a remake but a reboot.
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."That just seems to me like he is saying they will not take the compilation into account while developing the remake.
"Please crush me with your heels Esdeath-sama!Yeah that's really reading in between the lines there.
I doubt the compilation will have no bearing on the remake considering Nomura himself has been such a central figure to it, but any references to it will probably be minimal and out of the way.
This mostly unrelated game gave me a better idea of Noctis and Regis's relationship than anything in the game itself
If every weapon has a description that comprehensive in XV itself it would of worked wonders in helping with the backstory.
That's actually one of the recurring aspects in the Drakengard games.
You have these weapons that have stories to them you can read, and as you upgrade them you get more and more of the story.
They were absent from the first Nier (they only got published in the guidebook for whatever reason) and fans got upset enough that they made a point to bring them back for Automata.
I had not seen that particular one but it's actually quite elegant. For something that's only a few paragraphs long it actually manages to describe the core of the two's relationship very well.
I wonder if Yoko was the one who wrote it?

That story depresses me.
The whole thing is based on a misunderstanding. Not to mention it reminds me of stuff in my own life.
Late edit: Plus, it's super tragic.

"Please crush me with your heels Esdeath-sama!BC and CC would be the most likely to be referenced anyway and outside of making the BC turks notable background characters since they'd be in hiding and maybe wink wink nudge nudge memo about the top of the SOLDIER Ranks being dwindled due to certain events.
Aw man.... The Weapon stories were like the number one reason to grind them out...lord knows it wasn't the gameplay... ugh 'Drakengard 1 was basically Dynasty warriors except you were alone, with no npc army or generals vs a fairly large army'
Some were deliciously twisted, some vague and up to interpretation 'Butcher's Joy was about Cannibalism I think' and few... a few gave you that much needed hope.
Though, the Lord of Vermillion redesigns are something to behold
All the fucked up went to Leonard though
Leonard got screwed in his redesign!

I'm A Pervert not an Asshole!Considering how Chummy the two teams have been, it wouldn't surprise me if Yoko did write it.
Watch Symphogearhttps://thelifestream.net/dirge-of-cerberus/multiplayer-archives/npcs-of-deepground/
It really goes to show how much was lost due to not including the M-play for Do C especially with how diverse the DGS outfits could get and ultimately Deep Ground conspiracy to gain their freedom is alot more interesting then Vincent's largely mindless romp

I'm A Pervert not an Asshole! So i started playing FF 1 (gba) recently. When does the black belt get good enough to stop using weapons, I wonder?
Also how do i know where to go next? (Without resorting to guides of course.) I just blew up a patch of land... and that's after finally looking at the last place I haven't looked for the nitro "poudre".
My DA account... I draw stuff sometimes! He starts better at using his fisticuffs then any of the weapons that are available for buying him and I think it stays that way.
Siiiiigh...cataract is the Greek word for waterfall.
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerWow, I did not know that. Kind of weird that it's not used for a condition that has eyes watering as a symptom.

You'd know that if you played XII.
Life is more fun with infinite MP.I have played very few FF games :P
The love for XII is something I'll probably never understand. I could not stand it when I played it.
Maybe if I played it now that I'm much older and more used to a variety of genres (and know what I'm getting into).
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!x7 @Malco: You can de-equip the Black Belt from the start of the game and watch in amazement as he does most of the damage dealing for you. Just make sure you keep him alive.
Since you blew up that patch of land I assume you gave the nitro powder to Nerrick. Sail through the canal you just made (also avoid that whirlpool like the fucking plague for now, it leads to a bonus dungeon you aren't equipped to deal with at all where you are) and look for a town with a port near it. That's Melmond. The Cavern of Earth is nearby but Melmond has better spells and equips that you should probably make use of first. The Cavern's a little to the west of Melmond so prepare accordingly and all that.

I'm quite confident in my shitposting you know
I'd love for them to have another shot at Fortress. I'm still salty about that.
