I'm almost as far from the west coast as possible. Some of New England has me beat. My attempted "American tropers" thread is far from popular and would like to see some people from the same country at least. And theirs no all east coast thread(but the New yorkers get a ton of people just from there), so can't go there.

@wikkit: I grew up in Enumclaw (make the horse joke and get it over with, I'm never going back to that town), so I know Orting very well. Used to go bike riding there every summer.

I majored in Software Engineering. My brother in Graphics design.

Nice. I'm minoring in Web Design. Tried to get a CS degree, but the professor who was teaching the Java courses could only talk in mumbles so I transfered to the Communications department.

So I'm sure most northwesterners already know this, but Seattle does not know how to handle snow. The city has practically shut down due to the weather.

At least it's enough to warrent that. Atlanta freaked out over ~6 inches once. Called it all sorts of stuff like"snowmagedon", and, my personal favorite, 'Hothlanta'

Ugh, and at least you guys will get an ending to it. Here in Eburg, it's expected to keep snowing for 6 days non-stop. FML.

According to my wife and the pictures she sent, there's still enough snow to cover the bumpers on my poor little Elantra. She's been depending on rides from people who have SU Vs and pickup trucks.

Meanwhile, out here in the Arabian Sea, it's pretty darn warm.

It was supposed to start snowing hear(New Jersey) a few hours ago.*waits* screw it i'm going to bed.

It's still snowing here. Then again, that's nothing new.
