No, though there are mods that at least let you have the stamina draughts.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."I think there are mods that allow you to have the Awakening talents as well.
Yeah, but most of them require you to be at least level 20 so you won't get much use out of them.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."Awakening also allows you to buy Instruction Manuals for the other Specializations which also unlocks them for all future playthroghs.
So, I think Patch 5 might have killed my computer. I created a new Inquisitor (Judocous Trevelyan!) and... half way through the first cutscene caused my graphics card to crash (Maybe I shouldn't have been taking so many pictures???) and I had to reboot.
It seems that some file got corrupted and the auto repair tool won't work nor will any of the other options I'm being given and I can't even access Windows at all so... Fuck me.
I'm really hoping it WASN'T the patch the killed me because that's not a good sign but I'm also horrified that I'll lose everything because I have midterms this week.
Also, I highly recommend focusing on your Coercion skill at the onset and leave things like poison making, trap building or survival to your party members.
"If you're out here why do I miss you so much?"Awakening is its own short game taking place after DAO. Two of the other mini-expansions (Soldier's Peak and Stone Prisoner) take place during the original game as sidequests. And yeah, coerce the fuck out of everyone. It's epic the havoc your Warden can wreak with a silver tongue.
So, in DAI, a funny thing I noticed. During Blackwall's recruiting, he stares at a bandit he just slew and says "sorry, bastards." If you loot the corpse, a note indicates the guy is an ex-soldier who is reluctantly utilising the skills his "son of a bitch" commander taught. Jeez Blackwall, you can keep your cool when you try.
Also, who do you think murdered Mythal? "Betrayed" implies someone she knew was involved. Maybe Elgar'nan? Mythal was his lover and he's the god of vengeance, so wouldn't he have torn the world apart to find her killer?

The DLC should be played in the order of... Stone Prisinor, Warden's Keep, and Return to Ostagar because they take place during the main campaign. The main game should be followed by Awakening, Golems of Amgarrak, and then Witch Hunt which concludes the story arc of Dragon Age: Origins.
The side campaigns of Lelianna's Song and Darkspawn Chronacles can be done at any point since they don't effect the other DL Cs or main game; one being a What If DLC and the other being, technically, a prequel.
From the choices currently available, I'd pick Elgar'nan, but there's really no evidence to go on. And it could be more complicated than that - maybe there was an anti-Mythal alliance, maybe it wasn't a direct attack at all and she died as a consequence of someone else screwing up, maybe she killed herself to stop some terrible thing from happening and her followers count it as murder. The only certain thing seems to be that many of the elven gods were not benevolent ones.
Gone to Faerie, no forwarding address. (AO3)Her taking her own life sounds interesting. Certainly not expected and that counts for something in my book.
So, after taking my PC in, Its most likely NOT Dragon Age Patch 5 which crashed my entire system, but we don't know at all what it is.
Either way, I don't really know if I'll even be able to do the Patch 6 beta on Tuesday.
...There's a Patch 6 already?
"If you're out here why do I miss you so much?"yes. sign up for beta is the same place as patch 5's was.
I wonder what the chances are of us getting a DLC companion.

#IceBearForPresidentI just want a new casual outfit for Skyhold.
x2 Unless they're only a temporary companion, basically nothing.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."Patch 5, come hither! My new Lavellan mage has a fucked up nose and weird shade of lipstick and this will not do for the Herald of Andraste!
Tarlonniel1st Ooooh I like the idea of Mythal taking her own life. Maybe it was a deciding factor in Solas saying "screw you all" and locking them up, that his closest friend (according to developer notes) was forced into that kind of decision.

We'll probably see stuff like Nyreen/Aria from ME 3 or Talis from ME 2 but we won't see anything like Sebastian, Shale, Kasumi, Zaeed, or Javik. Its because they wanted the characters to be fully integrated into the story and not get accusations about selling on disk content.
Also, if they were going to make more companions, they'd need to make three with one of each class to balance out.
Or at least make one rift mage to replace Solas.
I just want a Wolf Hunt DLC so my rogue Lavellan can slap the shit out of Solas for his douchey breakup. Maybe she'll send a raven to her BFF Gaspard for some nice hunter horses. Or some politicking? Maaaaybe? So much was made of the more advanced dialogue/coercion system but it pretty much amounted to "The more you know!" tangents.
The existence of Witch Hunt makes me think we might get one, to give closure to Inquisitors who romanced him before the major role he's likely to play in Dragon Age 4, and to a lesser extent Inquisitors who didn't but still have words to exchange.
Like the bone we were thrown for those of us who romanced Morrigan, it probably won't be any more conclusive than Witch Hunt and be more focused on resolving the relationship between the Inquisitor and Solas rather than resolving anything to do with Solas himself, but I could definitely see it happening.

My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3....Wait, you left Gaspard in control of Orlais?
I much prefer him to Celene, but I love the idea of them being at each others' throats once the conflict ends, leaving Orlais worse off.

"For all those whose cares have been our concern, the work goes on, the cause endures, the hope still lives, and the dream shall never die."I'd be completely satisfied with a Witch Hunt-like DLC. I'm not really looking for answers about the elven gods and Solas' plans - the writing team can put off those revelations for as long as they deem necessary - but I absolutely want to be able to give Solas a satisfying "Seriously, dude, WTF?!" speech.
Gone to Faerie, no forwarding address. (AO3)My elf Inquisitor will kill him if given the chance. That should be fun.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."It'll probably go as well as attempting to kill Morrigan did.

Really? So none of those Awakenings-only Talents or stuffs can be used in the vanilla?
