The reason to play Mark of the Assassin:
No, this is why you play Mark of the Assassin.
YEAHHHH!!!
Both of those videos are why you should play Mark of the Assassin.
I guess Felecia Day isn't a reason?

I had no idea who she was before Mot A was released...and I still don't.
She's an actor from the Dragon Age web-series Dragon Age Redemption, where she plays a live action version of the same character from the DLC.

Never watched it, is it any good?
It's amazingly low budget and Talis is a great deal terrible to watch.
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerMy advice? Do not waste your time with it. It adds nothing to the DA universe, Tallis is an unlikeable protagonist and the whole thing looks like LAR Ping. The only interesting character was Nyree, and even she's your typical cocky mercenary type.
The world doesn't end with you. She's popular in geek culture for doing Web Original series like Doctor Horribles Sing Along Blog and The Guild.

I'm going to open a can of worms, so apologize to everyone, but as much as the word "Mary Sue" gets thrown around alot, Tallis really feels like the actual text book example. Super special assassin, incredibly sarcasitic and constantly getting the better of Hawke's companions, she's a Qunari who conveniently doesn't share the more negative aspects of the Qun.
She honestly felt more like a poorly thought out self-insert character.

I liked Tallis in Mark of the Assassin but found her to be utterly unlikable in Redemption.
My favorite things about Mot A were:
A) The much more light-hearted atmosphere.
B) Fun companion banter.
C) Teagan!
I found Tallis annoying, not aided by the fact that I, too, had no idea who Felicia Day was.

I never knew who Felicia Day was until Mark of the Assassin, but I have nothing against her. Tallis irritated me as the DLC went on and she took a Can't Argue with Elves stance on the Qun. Not being able to kill her for the Heart of the Many was the final straw.
Other than her the Mark of the Assassin DLC is rather fun to do and has some good loot, even if the armor set you get at the end is a palette swap of an already existing armor set.
At least the warrior version is a potentially endgame version of the best-looking armor set.
I like Tallis just fine, even if she is a Qunari.
Armor of the Fallen/Orlesian Lancer looks good, but I personally like the Mantle of the Champion and Regalia of Weisshaupt look the most.
Huh, I just checked and The Messenger from Mark of the Assassin isn't a pallet swap of any earlier Rogue Armor sets.

So, like all Qunari, then. Their official stance on philosophical debate is,
- QUNARI: The Qun states this is what is.
- PERSON: But I have philosophical objections to your ways.
- QUNARI: You are stupid and wrong.
- PERSON: What? Aren't you going to debate—
- QUNARI: No.
- PERSON: But I have opinions!
- QUNARI: *stab*
Sten actually will debate you, but you have to take him to certain places and hope that he randomly utters a line that you can enquire about. If he doesn't utter one of those lines or if you went to one of those places before without him, you have to reload a previous save.
The places are:
- The Circle Tower, right in front of the door holding back all the abominations.
- Redcliffe, when you exit the Chantry for the first time.
- The Brecillian Forest, a few steps past the entrance from the Dalish Camp.
- Denerim, in front of Alistair's sister's house.
Naturally the game never tells you this.
So is Fade Step, like, a dodge ability for Mages?
Umbran Climax◊Why would a mage in Dragon Age ever need to worry about avoiding enemy fire? I firmly believe the intended purpose is to teleport into the middle of enemy groups so you can destroy your enemy even faster.
in that case
Can we cast Corpse Explosion on ourselves yet?

Fade Step is basically like a "Blink" move.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."
Warrior: Katari
Rogue: Hunter
Mage: Elementalist
