Tossing in a few suggestions. Admittedly don't feel strongly about any of them, just hoping to get a conversation, and other suggestions, going.

Imma be contrarian and vote 1.1. The wonky Christmas tree gives me a more general "Christmas sucks" sense over someone being bad at assembling a present as in 1.3.

Another option is to take the current from National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation and find something else for the work page. I think the electrocution poster illustrates crappy holidays fairly well.

Only problem with using the National Lampoon poster (15) is that there's no nice-looking replacement for the work, since it’s the most commonly used worldwide.

I mean it is okay for works and trope pages to share an image.
