The "debt" part seems hard to show in a photo (maybe a picture of an angry waiter holding a receipt or something). I move for BUPKIS, but I vote pull the current either way.

Hey, beat me to doing anything about this ;). Would the first panel even be necessary? I wouldn't go so far as to call it superfluous, but I like trimming when possible.

Eh, I think having the first panel in makes the situation clearer, plus it makes it easier to tell that the player character in the second image is wearing a work uniform (as opposed to using a custom pattern), considering that the "working for Tom Nook" tutorial hasn't been part of the series since 2008. That said, I suppose using just the second screenshot would look something like this:
